Bizarrely enough, there are now several unsolds at 1.66 and bellow. While this is still valid as a conservative drop, I'd understand if the mods were to close it in favour of a new range.
If its closed on account of the 0.11/0.05 price change being 'unnecessary', please amend the rules to prevent further confusion. I'd also appreciate an explanation as to why hat suggestions such as this - http://backpack.tf/vote/id/53936af44dd7b8d26f8b46ed - have been accepted while others have been revoked on the grounds of an unnecessary change.
Hmm, idk if this is a good one, like a scrap change, and has a range? Is that really neccesary. Ill stay neutral.
Necessary? Maybe not. More accurate? I think so.
If someone is a) bothered to do it and b) the proof is valid, why shouldn't it pass?
i think somewhere a mod say a scrap change on items like this is just not necessary, like, there will always be people selling for a bit lower just to sell quicker, on almost every item.
Idk, do what you want.
If it were one or two people selling bellow the current price, you'd have a point. This obviously isn't the case, however.
If 0.11 price changes were forbidden it'd be in the rules.
this is half a scrap change. just pointing it out.
Yeah Zer is right. I tried to do this on an awper hand, the mods said a scrap change was unnecessary.
If this is the case, they really ought to put something in the rules. Doesn't seem too logical to me, but there you go.
Yet we can lower the prices of hats from 1.66 to 1.55-1.66

Downvote. Considering the sheer size of the market, this isn't enough proof. I'm seeing more sellers for above 2 than for 1.88.
If you eliminate those with parts and those under 1 day, you're left with less than you might think.
I'll add more proof as it matures.
I see solds at 2ref starting out your proof :u isn't that kinda countering yourself
Not at all. 2 refined is included in my range.
What about unsolds at 2 ref flat?
2 refined is included in my range.
I'm still sure that you need some unsolds to prove that a drop is actually necessary and some more proof to signify 1.88 ref is a solid drop. and frankly like vrakos said, providing a drop suggestion with solds at the old price is kinda countering yourself.
My range is 1.88-2. I'm here to prove that both 1.88 and 2 refined are common sale points. Unsolds at 2 refined are neither required nor particularly relevant.
They would be counterproof if I was attempting to eliminate 2 refined from the range. Based on his voting/suggesting history (extensive) and the persistence with which he plagues my suggestions, I can only assume Vrakos is trolling or commenting w/o reading my OP properly.
Or he maybe lacks experience with this system, don't judge a book by its cover.
Seems highly unlikely given the 'exceptional contributor' badge and 8 accepted suggestions.
BTW: Downvotes w/o an explanation serve no purpose. If you have a problem with something I'm saying, confront me about it.
