Sold for TWatt Muffs + Aces SnS

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19332080

12.7 (using prices at time) * 0.9 = 11.4 buds at time, rounding to 11.5

1 of 1, now in a collector's backpack: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198050585430

Not on market for over 1 month, been in their bp for 2 months.

Ohhhh I get it because chefs like to use knives to cook food, and they usually cook indoors, and the hat is protecting the Pyro or the 'chef' from the storm, therefore the Pyro is indoors, where chefs cook. The red also symbolizes tomato sauce since Pyro likes to eat tomato soup for lunch.

    c:

      Chefs use knives, simples!

I think a hellfire one would be more themed.

        I dun get it?

I'm pretty sure the Eerie Orbiting Fire one is themed.

That doesn't even make any sense.

How, could you please explain? It seems this hat themes with so many effects

e.g: Bubbling - themed cause chefs wash up, therefore bubbles

e.g: Smoking - themed cause chefs cook with fire sometimes, therefore smoke

e.g: Nuts n Bolts - the chef's gone nuts, he's bolting around the kitchen = nuts n bolts

e.g: Burning Flames or Scorching Flames - pretty self explanatory

e.g: Disco Beat Down - when people have party they need food, and chefs make food

Maybe the Eerie Orbiting Fire is a little Gordon Ramsay swirling around you screaming at you, so angry with you that he burst into purple flames?

don't 4git steaming cus steamed corn

Sunbeams - Chefs need light to see, and thus need light to cook.

Heart - Chefs put their heart and love into the food they cook.

Confettis - Same theme as the disco theme.

Miami - There are many chefs in Miami.

Flaming Lantern - Chefs sometimes make dishes that have pumpkin as an ingredient.

Sunbeams one is forced. All of these are forced.

Fine.. I think we all know the best effect though.

Aces High - Chefs sometimes are not happy with their income so they decide to find an easy way to make money. They end up going to a casino and playing poker, and using the money they earn from poker, they take expensive cooking classes and end up being famous chefs.

really, they are forced? I never would have guessed.

It's hard to figure out what the price on the muffs was at the time since the sale happened exactly in between to the two suggestions for it. Let's do a more in-depth analysis.

            Sale happened on April 30.

            Sales for the Muffs:

            May 7: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19629289 - sold for ~7.1 after overpay

            Mar 30: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18564684 - sold for ~8 after overpay

            Mar 16: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18564684 - sold for ~9.6 after overpay

Feb 16: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17484547 - sold for 7 after overpay (this was called an outlier at the time)

Looks like at the time of the sale (April 30), this was selling for 7-8 - that should be considered the value of the muffs at the time of the sale.
