Suggestion: at 1.33–1.66 ref

Unfortunately, it seems like all the mass 1.66 buyers are gone. But that does not mean that 1.66 isn't possible. Let's see how the once cancerous hats, genuines, robo-hats, and all other hats that has been once 1.22 affair with 1.66.

...etc and etc. I think you guys get the point. Normal craft hats that were 1.33 and never went below that doesn't seem to have a problem to fetch 1.66. On the other hand, the ones that did go below 1.33 does seem to be struggling to get 1.66 right away, but it's possible. Just only takes an extra day or two.

Just wondering why you are proving 1.33 ref? I mean, its already in-range, don't you only need to prove 1.66 ref?

It doesn't hurt to add them anyways. It is suggested in my range after all.

Nothing. Imo he shouldn't have closed it.

I think it was the last comment where Fiskie said "Just a quick note for people voting on this or finding evidence for this: Do not include trades where the item itself is being addressed - a random craft hat is just that, random. This placeholder is ideally for craft hats as a commodity where the buyer is not interested in the specific item."

He said that to clarify. I don't think that was a problem in the previous suggestion.

Polar also stated in the forums that if cancerous hats can sell for 1.66 i.e. Ellis cap, then pretty much anything can sell for 1.66.

Even then, whether mods like it or not, they need this change. I can tell polar is getting sick of accepting hundreds of craft hat suggestions that he knows one day he'll have to do this again. Again, hundreds. With the sheer amount of 1.66 suggestions, this should've been suggested ages ago. Look at Giang alone, he raised 200+ hats. I'm just doing them a huge favor.

If hats that used to be selling for 1.22 are now selling for 1.66 (ellis, some genuines, etc.), then clearly at some level we have to acknowledge that craft hat values are no longer the same as they were a month ago.

Having said this, the suggestion here is quite late. Scrap.tf has lowered their buying rates, probably because supply has started to increase. In going through hundreds of craft hat suggestions recently I have slowly started to see 1.33 sellers take a bit longer to sell than they did a week ago and have actually closed several suggestions trying to change hat values from 1.33-1.66 to 1.66 flat.

Still, right now, I think 1.33-1.66 is better than 1.33 flat. If it needs to be changed back later, that's an easy change to make. We should now focus on pricing regular craft hats as "random craft hats."
