A considerably older sale that I tracked down a while back (I've been considering getting this hat for a while), this was back at the end of April:

El Jefe (Overclocked) for 2 buds + 10 keys

B/O 4 buds, mentioned discount for pure and attempted to do a bit of a quicksell, but the hat has now had multiple offers of 50 keys or 2 buds + 10 keys pure, one of which was accepted.

Got a reasonably solid offer of 2.5 buds, accepted but one or the other didn't follow through:

Attempted to quicksell for pure sometime from 4/21-4/23 (it was up for around two days on backpack.tf classifieds at 50 keys) but got no offers during that time.

Ended up selling for 2 buds + 10 keys

Anyway, all that is to say that yes, 2.5 buds is a quicksell, but not a huge one, which means a slight lowering is probably worth it.
