The breadboxes are selling once again and finding updated trades for this item in generally is difficult. Other than the highballers trying to sell these for 1.75 keys and up, there are few trades listed near the current price. Many trades for a key at the moment either haven’t been updated or have already been sold. Breadboxes listed at the price of a key are sold rather quickly and don’t usually last a day.

I made a trade selling them at a key each and received 6 adds overnight, but only ended up trading away two and rejecting the rest. I sold breadboxes to 2 different people for 1 key each: http://imgur.com/xcLwsNN

I hate how people downvote JUST on the fact that you have many of the item and are going to gain something by doing this...

If the proof is valid, its valid, it doesn't matter that the suggestor will profit from it, because someone else would anyways.

I admire your candor, but I can tell you from personal experience that people around here do not give a shit about the SCM.

It is only used as a 'guideline' or maybe as the very last chip you need to tip the scale to support something, but it's not considered 'proof' by bp.tf (yes even if you do the 15% math for Gaben fees)

anyways there is valid proof, the reason I have 8 is because I managed to hold onto them I had 20 before they became uncraftable and I slowly sold a few, but then all of a sudden Im getting alot of adds for the same 1 key price. That is mainly caused by there being a shortage of these items/not many being on the market and there being a higher demand.

it's only support, just because it sells for 3+ on the market doesn't mean it'll sell for the equivalent in tf2 stuff. note, there's a "steam tax"

You are right, I have proof of higher sales so 1-1.15 should be acceptable range, but this suggestion was made a while before they sold for an even higher range. I considered making a higher range but at the time had no proof for it

If you think there should be a higher range you may feel free to create another suggestion

Any thing with bread is hard to sell... I tried selling the s. snack attack for 2 weeks and i sold it for under priced...

I do realize what 1.15 keys is, you have nothing in your proof that rounds to 1.15 keys :| 1key+3ref definitely isn't 1.15keys

Key sellers usually sell them quickly, this is a term referred to as a "quicksell" when something quicksells at the current price it usually means it needs to be raised

The prices of all the bread items are decreasing, therefore it would make no sense to increase the price of the crate.

Well crate 30 has only one worthwhile item but still worth more than a bud :P

anyways all the stranges (atm) are worth more than the box and it is rising in price because its becoming rarer and less are selling

There's a difference. This crate wasn't craft able, therefore controllable. Crate 30 was distributed evenly for it was a random drop and you could not control the total amount of crates released. The breadbox on the other hand was able to be crafted by 3 hats which was not only opened to every player, premium and free, it allowed players to create insane amounts of breadboxes without control. When there is a huge amount of an item, whether its no longer craft able or not, the price will not increase. Honestly I could understand why they would increase the price because tf2 economy has never really made sense. The only reason why I would see that the price would increase is probably because the key price recently decreased.

But, you have to realize that now these crates are unobtainable, which means whenever someone opens one, there is permanently less in existence. The price should rise because there will gradually be less and less of them on the market. Yes, there are a lot right now, but that is because they were craftable less than a month ago. Both the Bread Boxes themselves and their items inside will rise in price. It is not logical to think they shouldn't go up in price.

I agree that in time the crate should increase in price but I feel like it's a bit too early as of now. As I said before, the prices of the individual items are decreasing which shows that the tf2 community is already flooding with the bread items. The snack attack, if I may say, is nowhere near rare. It is the highest priced item as of now but you can see it is steadily decreasing in price due to the huge amounts that already exist.
