http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20589150 Offer of a Dead Presidents Cosa Nostra Cap(5 with Overpay)

5-6 Should be fine.

Additional Proof/Counter-Proof/Constructive Criticism/Feedback is always appreciated.

My only criticism with this would be that, it's possibly multiple of these were sold on the steam community market / paypal.

With my experience, I had attempted to sell this hat over a period of 2 months at 5.5 buds which i then tried to sell for 5 pure and eventually 4 pure, whilst this is an all-class, the effect is extremely hard to sell, as any unusual offers i received were in the 4-5 range.

Above links showing difficulty selling for the current range + suggested range

I did eventually sell mine for 4 pure on the SCM + keys - http://i.imgur.com/3xL3GuF.png

Again, sorry for the fashionably late reply.

Mixed sales of SCM and Keys are too complicated to manage and I'd rather skip using them. If any sales happen outside of the range or any sellers below it appear I'll be able to modify it, but for now 5-6 seems adequate even if you did have a hard time selling it.

Again, you have not explained why your suggestion is adequate, your assumed trades may not have occured as there is no evidence to suggest that they were traded for the particular items.

Multiple trades featuring this hat on outpost who are looking for around the proposed range 5-6 pure have been open for months, unable to get any kind of pure offer around that range, some have been offered other third generation unusuals which themselves are also hard to sell.

        http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20830950 - Open for 3 weeks at 5.2-5.3 - no offers

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21051134 - has been open for 2 weeks with no offers - also had another trade open for 3 weeks with no offers - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20820923 and another http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20798873 - of which no offers around the suggested value were received - a period of 9 weeks where no offers around the suggested range were received.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19066183 - Has a trade open which was created a month ago with no offers around the suggested range, also has another closed trade that was open for 3 months with no offers around the suggested value.

These trades suggest that this hat is extremely hard to sell, especially at the current value of 5.5-5.7 and the suggested range of 5-6.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20830950 I don't think this one suggests an exact price, unless Mr Bucket himself confirms this.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21051134 Just because unusuals don't recieve offers via outpost doesn't mean that they're not selling otherwise. Some of my sales have been around july 15, which is almost 2 weeks from now. It's not really fair to say that it should be worth less because it wouldn't get offers on a trading site.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20820923 To be fair, that geezer + pencil pusher offer could easily be 5.5ish by now because of the misc update.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20798873 This was only open for a few hours, you're just flinging random trades to me right now.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19066183 Same as the second link.

And just because an unusual seems extremely hard to sell on paper, doesn't mean that it really is. If there's no sellers below the suggested range why would it have to be changed? Take this unusual as an example:

http://backpack.tf/vote/id/53ca4d214dd7b8b9358b4568 Was worth a whooping 7-8 Buds, and now it's worth 5.3-6.5. Either you or me could view this hat being worth MUCH less because of the effect and the fact that this only got like 4-5 offers in 4 months: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18434795 Yet the suggestion still got accepted.

Though if any other additonal sales appear below 6, that's when I'll resuggest on a shorter range.

Also you ignored the fact that this one declined a Dead Presidents Cosa Nostra Cap, which is worth 5.5: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20589150

The pencil pusher offer was made three weeks ago, you should assume that its price then is what should be used, the whole point of the listed trades was that it could be postulated that it is difficult to sell, as many of the traders with the hat have been trying to sell it for the past couple of months, whilst the PP may have increased in price, you can't assume that the person would still be willing to trade it for the offer he made three weeks ago.

Also the DP Cosa Nostra price ≠ backpack.tf pricing, whilst the price suggested on backpack.tf is 5.5, this appears to be outdated there are quite a few sellers with trades that have been open for more than 2 weeks who are willing to accept offers of 4.5, outside of your own range.

My case in point, however was it appears to be very difficult to sell at the current and suggested range, you highlighted several trades that seemed to have occured within your range, but you haven't confirmed whether or not it was actually sold for the particular hat, e.g the person trading for the DP BoA may have asked for a bud / sweets also, I guess what I'm trying to say with my final statement, apart from the exchange from backpacks, do you have further proof that the hats were indeed sold 1:1 for the unusuals you listed?

Man you really hate this hat don't you.

Though you do make a good point for getting me to search for proof of the actual sales, I'll resuggest and see what I come up with.
