When i checked the history, there is no label of it being duped. Where are you getting this duped info from? The item history is down now so i can't show you.

Well, if you look at the previous accepted suggestion, this hat was also used as part of the proof.

So because someone else made an incorrect suggestion that was accepted, you have carte blanche to do the same? As it stands, your sole proof is a duped hat.

It just shows that this hat is a valid hat to be used as proof. How can it be accepted if it is incorrect?

Duped or not doesn't matter is it? As long as the item history doesn't show that "This item appear to be duped", it should be fine to use as proof.

How is anything I said personal? You made a (possibly) bad suggestion and played stupid about a hat being duped. Is this forum not for scrutinizing such things? And thanks for pointing out I'm not a mod. I totally thought I was. I don't mean to be giving you the gears about it, but if the rules state that you aren't supposed to be using duped hats as proof (which could very well be incorrect, is why I asked in the first place) and you're doing precisely that, I don't really understand what the point of this suggestion is.

"As long as you get your upvotes, I suppose" I take that as an offense. (Sort of calling me a repwhorer i suppose.). I am not playing stupid here nor I think that this is a bad suggestion. If the hat is not labelled duped, in my opinion it can be valid. If you think otherwise, as i have already mentioned, just downvote and leave.

Why would it matter if the site says it is or isn't a dupe? The site's system for determining such a thing isn't infallible. It IS a duped hat you're using for proof. Are you trying to pretend it isn't? If you know this hat is a dupe and you're going through with the suggestion regardless, that's acting entirely in bad faith.

It matters because pricing of unusuals on this site is all based on information presented by this website.

Well if this site doesnt show that it is duped, and if i were the seller and showed the item history to you, would you buy it as duped? Almost certainly no. Therefore, it should not affect its sale value.

I have no hard feelings either. I'll never own this hat, and I have no interest in it whatsoever. I just pointed out the hat you were using for proof is duped. IF that is against the rules, then this suggestion is invalid. If I'm mistaken about the rules, and I very well could be since I don't see a list of rules set in stone anyplace, then I apologize and I'll gladly delete my own posts.
