Conclusion: 0.23-0.24 seems to be the most common trading point at the moment. 0.25 happens occasionally but the same thing can be said 0.22, 0.21 and even 0.20.

Tell me if anything is wrong, I think I've got all legit proof that there is on outpost, aswell as on tf2-trader. Additional proof would be very helpful! :)

If mine didn't pass at .23 - .24 I don't see why this would. Same links, same proof and whatnot.

I re-suggested at .23 - .25 as mod said that .25 is possible and my links at .25 have sold out and all.

I didn't realize this suggestion until after an hour I posted my new suggestion up..

Well, sales are happening outside this range, 0.22 is happening more than 0.25 honestly and 0.21 is happening just as often as 0.25. That doesn't mean I should suggest a range of 0.21-0.25 just because that is happening occasionaly. I just feel like this range is were the sales are happening most often by approximate. That's just my opinion, I'm no expert on this.

If we had to include all sales in our range, it would've looked something like 0.20-0.27 and I added more proof to support this range.

I don't see why this is still open at all when my .23 - .25 got heavily counter-proofed.

I made another hetman suggestion. :)

        Counter-proof from last suggestion:

        http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21165179 (0.22 USD)

        http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21354312 (0.23 USD)

        http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21244300 (0.23 USD)

        http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20071148 (0.24 USD)

        http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17868389 (0.25 USD)

        http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18662815 (0.25 USD)

As Puddington Bear stated, they were sold out.

This is the reason why the last ref suggestion was closed (even it was well-made).

0.25$ shouldn't be removed out of the range.

        Neutral.

2 sales from 0.25, that's like saying I should include 0.20 and 0.21 in the range aswell. I'm no expert on this but it just seems weird to me how like 5 sales can counter so many links.

I agree with you. It's really weird but if it works before, it will work again.

I guess we'll see, I can't really call myself an expert on price suggestions, this is my first suggestion that uses money as a currency.

Ive sold a some refined at $0.27 http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21380446

Yea, as said, there are sales outside this range. 0.22 is possible, 0.20 is possible aswell and I have even seen a sale at 0.19 not too long ago. It's just that 0.23-0.24 seems to be the common trading point at the moment. Backpack.tf is an estimate of all the sales aswell as sellers on the market and from what I've seen, 0.23-0.24 looks right at the moment.

            Found a new seller:

            http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21623833 - 7.8 WMR (0.22)

This is retarded it's low enough as it is. Think about it, a key right now is worth about $2.50 and it's worth 8 ref at the moment. 8*0.25=$2...

You can't just divide and multiply between ref and keys. It doesn't work that way. Btw, keys are like 1.8-1.9 atm, not 2.5. Where are you getting that from? I hope you're not following steam market.

Tell me what got you interested in lowering the price on refined metal?

I got nothing against ref, just updating prices.

^ This. Your own proof shows 0.25 sells, and that there are BUYERS for 0.23. I cannot see any reason to attempt to remove 0.25 from the range.

Read my conclusion. There's only one buyer at 0.23 now, btw.

Keys are 1.80-1.90 EUROS on the market atm, which is around 2.40-2.50 dollars

market.... You can't compare prices to the steam market.

"keys are like 1.8-1.9 atm, not 2.5."

So... Where are you getting that from? I hope you're not lying.

keys on backpack.tf cost about that much. he isnt talking about on the steam market

Alright. Let's get this clear since no one likes to read my conclusion before arguing with my suggestion.

Before you post and flame about 0.25 not being in the range, take time to look at ALL proof that's provided in the suggestion.

1 buyer at 0.23. One guy posted that he'd be willing to sell 500 for 0.23 each. Already bought a bunch. The other buyer at 0.23 has lowered their price because they got too many adds.

The sales I provided at 0.25 either lowered their price or got very few refs sold in a long time.

                Unsolds at 0.25:

                http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21316681 - 2 weeks

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18662815 - Doesn't seem like he got many, if any sales in a month.

                http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17868389 - Sold 4 ref in 1 month.

                http://tf2-trader.com/index.php?topic=30327.0 - No comments in a week

                http://tf2-trader.com/index.php?topic=30200.0 - No comments for 15 days

That was all sellers at 0.25 on outpost, all sellers on tf2-trader (Except for really poorly updated ones), proving that not many people even bother at selling for 0.25 when there's always sellers at 0.23-0.24

Also, please don't spam the trade, only comment if you have counter proof/additional proof or if you find a flaw in my suggestion.

That is probably because your suggestion is flawed. You need to show 0.25 does not sell to remove it from the range. Your own proof shows that it does sell.

You make these grandiose claims about unsolds at 0.25 in this last message.

                  http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18662815

                  http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17868389

Have several "added" messages within the past week. Did you look at the purchasers backpack history to determine these people purchased keys and not refined or did you just assume it was keys? Unless you have done that you are making an unfounded conclusion based off your own opinion.

                  http://forums.sourceop.com/threads/157563-Keys-1-90-Buds-37-Ref-0-25-PayPal%28USD%29 [Same as your http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18662815]

Sales at 0.25 within the past week

(Editted to include further sales from your own proof at 0.25 within the past 24 hours)

                  http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20019133

Well, it's near impossible to track real money sales unless I'm adding them and ask them for a paypal screenshot personally. I just looked if anyone specifically said "Added for ref" or anything like that. I should'nt have put those at unsolds, that was just stupid of me.

Sales do happen at 0.25 but more sales happen at 0.22, I'm suggesting this range just too make it narrower.

You could check the backpack history on the day of the user who posted "added", check the refined/keys history to see if it came from the seller. Abit of a time consuming task but changing the value of a common currency item such as refined should warrant that sort of time and effort.

Yes classifying those as unsolds was pretty silly, and anyone who dug down and took the warranted time to check it may have came to the conclusion that you were attempting to pull a fast one on people who look at links and do not check them to bolster your arguement, although I am sure it was a harmless mistake <3

Quite honestly regardless of the more common sale points of 0.23 and 0.24, I could not justify an upvote primarly due to the fact that the key to refined ratio is on the decline (trending) and the key purchase/sale price to paypal is remaining stable (Opinion from watching the various sites over the past 2 weeks). Refined will take time to come into line with the trending ratio but unless the buy/sale price of keys to paypal declines as well, refined will rise in value not decrease (opinion) Otherwise one could purchase refined for cheap, convert to keys and make an easy buck.

I agree with your point, but I'll keep this suggestion open because atleast I think that 0.23-0.24 is the most common trading point at the moment.

*Thumbs up* You get a "like" from me for your determination and effort, but not my upvote. Good luck with your suggestion

sells in that range you shoul have it in the range.we dont care if you want a more narrow range.

keys are droping ref sellers will start to realise they can sell for more and they will do so. i am going to get you some counter if pssible.

why keys are going down now they wll go up becase of this D:

Really bad time to be pricing ref with keys dropping rapidly. Especially since the last 2 suggestions have been counterproofed.

.25 still sells, and vastly beyond that in 'outlier' cases on outpost and SOP.

We're selling 100s if not 1000s of pieces of ref on marketplace.tf for .26/ea ("mp.tf and tf2s.net are not pruf cheekun")

Gonna have to consider it someday. What matters more? Some guy selling 5 pieces of metal for 1 cent cheaper than bp.tf price? Or the equivalent of a large chain grocery store selling 1000s.

                      http://forums.sourceop.com/threads/157563-Keys-1-90-Buds-37-Ref-0-25-PayPal%28USD%29 - Almost sold out @ .25

                      ^found that in 2 minutes.

If it is still possible to find sales at .25, it should stay in the range.

                        ez

                          You can post proof too.

Ive seen enough counter proof I need.

                          downboat

                            Wtf whay !!!!

We should really focus on pricing other items besides ref at the moment. There's plenty of unusuals that haven't been priced yet, and ref seems pretty stable where it's at now. I'm not saying $0.23 is an outlier, but it just seems like keeping it at its current price would be the best option for the moment as keys and buds shift to new prices.

why would ref go down if keys are going down it makes no sence

Its going down in money currency not metal currency and I don't even know if this will pass

if there are 0.25$ solds proofs, wouldn't be better range between 0.23-0-25? just asking, I don't really know what to vote.

To me, to change a currency in tf2, you will need to have much more proof, unfortunately. Downboat for me.

I literally took every single seller on tf2outpost and tf2-trader.

Pretty sure a moderator already said 0.25$ was to be included in the range.

I've added more counterproof against 0.25

0.25 should not be taken out of the range. Downboat.

when price of key is gooing down then price of ref must go up.

Doesn't have to be that way.

                                          Why would anyone buy REF...

profit:keys are droping buying ref to flip in keys its the way to go now.

                                            if you do $ trades

Guess we won't be happy until the tf2 economy has crashed into a smouldering heap of refined wreckage. Yay community!

yeah they need to keep their hands away from refined it is the foundation of the tf2 community

                                              http://tf2-trader.com/index.php?topic=26344.0 - 0.21 <- not 0.21 it is 0.23

some of your proof is wrong, like this.

                                                Some people change their prices.

no one really like someone to change refined price so its impossible for someone's suggestion to be accepted that easy

Refined is low on price enough. Downvote.

Please stop posting suggestions containing 1-2 months old proofs!

                                                    Seriously, dude, stop.

(I'm too lazy to check the rest of your proof, but I bet that 60-75% of it is invalid/old)

People are changing their prices and I did say selling/sold, not just selling. Closing this now.

lots and lots of counter proof. downvote.

Lots of Proof, but too much counter-proof to prove otherwise, down vote.
