I think that you need more than one sale to change this price, it isn't the only one on the market or anything. This seems more like a quicksell...

Why are people so desperate for rep/accreditation on here that they'll try to chump an unusual's price -that- far over one (poor) trade? I mean you've even posted a discussion with the person who managed to (lowball) get a great deal and the following conversation of "hey this is a terrible hat, let's try to manipulate the price negatively!"

This is worse than when I see people listing "hey something didn't sell for sticker price after three days! it must need a price change!" At least they don't post snapshots of themselves conspiring to degrade the price of an item and then expect to be taken seriously.
