Ok firstly, this is my first suggestion so please be kind :3

I previously had this hat and let me tell you trying to sell it at all was very difficult. Most of the trades on outpost are listing this hat for around 2.5 buds which is the current price without any serious offers. I had this exact hat for around 3 weeks before I swapped it for an unusual worth around 1.5 buds. Prior to this I tried to sell it for 1.5 buds, I had no replies. The matter at hand is that the price for this hat is very outdated and needs to be changed.

Here is the proof.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20388802 - Seller is selling for 2 buds with petty offers.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21102512 - Seller is highballing the glove for 3.5 buds with absoloutely no responses regarding this hat.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20523908 - Selling has been trying to sell the hat for over a month with just under the current price. The only offers they have had is lowballs of roughly the same price as I am suggesting.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21233657 - Seller is again selling for 2.5 buds, they have had one offer which was a lowball. They have also been trying to sell it for over 2 weeks.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17204928 - Seller is selling a set containing the hat. They have been trying to sell it for 6 months which frankly is ridiculous. Their B/O is 3 buds pure. The trade has had just under 1k views with no evidence of a decent pure offer close to the b/o.

"Selling" = Buyout, I can list a wet paper bag for 3000 buds, doesn't mean its worth that.

Sold is what you want, accurately showing how much they have SOLD FOR, not what is FOR SALE.

No point in including sellers outside the range. Little to no proof here for 1.7. I don't even see where 1.5 comes from.

I'm just going by experience. If you ever find yourself in posession of this hat then be prepared also not to be able to sell it anywhere near the listed price.

I'll price it myself, in such a circumstance. The 'listed' price is outdated, it's obviously not worth that.

EDIT: And just a heads-up, disliking critical comments does nothing but make you look immature.

I stated the price at 1.5-1.7 because this is the only range in which I have seen a sale. And yes I do not have evidence of sales but believe me you will NOT sell this hat between 1.8-2,7 buds. If you offer this on any hat worth between 2-2.5 buds you will get laughed at.

I can take critisism, as I said I am going by experience with this item. My experience with this item is poor. Btw how do you thing people such as Gent started out? I am taking critisism but I would not take blatant attempts to run down this suggestion. You yourself could have been more curtious seeing as it is my first suggestion which I have stated multiple times now.

Know why it passed? Because:

A) I listened to criticism

B) I read the cheat-sheet like people much more experienced than me told me to.

When people put money into a virtual market, and they make money from a virtual market, it does make a difference.

Again it is virtual money. You think people actually sell pixels for real money with all the risk involved? It happens alot less than you think.

So when people put their actual fucking money it some how becomes virtual? The money people get from selling their items is fake money? Where is your logic coming from? It happens all the time, every day. It happens a lot more often than you might think.

I dont think you understand. Virtual currency means the currency of the game used to purchase virtual items. I was not refering to real money. The end of my sentence however, was.

Virtual currency such as ref and keys and buds, are worth actual money. Hundreds of real world transactions happen everyday.

I believe you are new to Tf2 or any mass-multiplayer games like this.

Items from this game(TF2), also from CS:GO as well as Dota2 and many other games like these do involve in real life money. They get traded for real life items and money.

I have been playing TF2 for a long time. I am not new to TF2 the game. I am relatively new to unusual trading. There is a difference. My ability to not be able to accurately price items does not aflict my ability to play the game.

This is just so much butthurt. I was ripped to shreds on my first suggestion, I took the feedback constructively and now I actually know how to suggest. Just take Gent's advice, he clearly knows what he's doing.
