it's been a while since somebody has talked about this hat so ill spend my first attempt at a price suggestion torwards this. constructive criticism is appreciated.
1 month ago traded for an electrostatic flipped tribly (2.9) http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/328246
1 month ago one was traded for a bubbling modest pile of hat which is 2 buds http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/17980,2
one was sold 2 months ago for a duped circling peace sign brigade helm (1.3 + duped=like what 13 keys?) http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19852009 which was then sold for an aces high antlers worth 2.8
2 months ago one was traded for a Miami nights deep cover operator but this is an extreme overpay that may have just been a shark http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/329747 (check owners of brigade and deep cover)
traded for a kill a watt tyrannus (2.5) 2 months ago. only proof of the trade happening is by checking the history, which they go each other right after the other. http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/369935
traitor then tried to quicksell it for 2.5 and received offers of 2.2 and 2.9 in unusuals but neither were accepted.
currently none on the market, 17 In existence
this has been up for a month only offered on twice with a 2.2 unusual and a 2.9 (retracted)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21020656
this trade has been up for 2 weeks asking for 3 buds in offers and nobody has touched on it
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21330972
you have to mini suggest for a duped circling peace sign brigade helm, not just say it's 13 keys
the flipped trilby is outdated and also entirely ignored in the range :?
edit: forgot, did you apply item overpay?
also, 13 keys sounds super low for a peace sign brigade helm, even a duped one.
the question mark is there just to say I don't really know what exactly duping would do to a 1.3 bud hat, but for trading unusual in my experience they seem unsellable if the buyer knows its duped. realistically I could see it going for about 18 keys in offers but I don't think there's a way to calculate it.
thank you for commenting, im not saying its worth 13 keys im just saying that it has a lower value than a typical one being 1.3. I suppose just tossing a number out there wasn't the best way to do it but I didn't really take that much into account, and considering the highest thing payed for it was 2.9 in unpure, i believe 2.8 pure would be find. as for the deep cover, i don't think it should be a factor in the price. considering it was about 3x times the price of what iv seen it typically sold for.
still didn't calculate item overpay :<?
for the deep cover?
"All OFFERED hats and items should be taken at 90% of their original average price. For a guide on how to determine the original average price, please look here - http://forums.backpa...es-of-unusuals/
If unclear which hat was offered, DO calculate overpay..."
from the guide I linked below
after going through all my links again, the duped peace brigade was offered so 22.5 keys with that overpay thing but its still duped so idk how much lower youd consider that (that's the only confirmed offered item).

made a suggestion of 2.5 to 2.8 ( didn't notice that you made one)
one got sold recently for a beams robo beanie (2.8)
I think this price range is better as it can get over 2.5 if it is unusual offers.
a 0.8 range from low to high price range is almost the same the range from a quicksale price to market price.
It wouldn't accurately reflect the market price as the price range is too high. Since none have been sold for 2 buds I don't think it should have a 2 bud lower range price.
0.8 buds off 2.8 is almost 30% which is quicksale prices
im taking into account actual sales of the hat, which at lowest was a 2 bud unusual 1:1 about a month ago. also a terror watt tyrannus worth 2.5 with the overpay would be 2.25. Your suggestion is going straight off of just buyouts and I mentioned a few of those and added sales.
2 months is too old
Oh, whoops.
http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/6033-new-unusual-price-suggestion-guide-the-cheat-sheet/ no you're right
"Sales older than 2 months old are not valid proof; this does not mean that they are not useful. Feel free to include them to provide supplemental proof. Just don't rely on them to set your range. "
bought mine for a cloud 9 milkman
you bought a 3 bud hat for a 3.4 bud hat and took a 2.8 bud hat in return for it.
brigade helm is same tier as milkman and miami is better than cloud 9. that's a good trade. then i get offered a god tier 1st gen effect hat, and i take it. quit it with your bible.tf, it's a general pricing tool not exact
milkman is a higher tier hat, cloud nine is higher tier. Robo hats don't sell and many don't like them and not to mention its a beanie that even the none robo version hardly gets touched. Its maybe like the 3rd best gen 1 effect and no I don't take this place all that seriously I just come here for advice and general direction.
me too, but how is milkman higher tier? they're both high tier. cloud 9 is mid tier miami is mid-high ish
cloud nine is a higher tier than miami
no, no its not
it is
miami is hated :-/ (for no reason)
cloud 9 is hated as much as miami... miami is more noticeable
naw
c9 would be around hearts,if it wasn't unboxed so much more
miami is hated <,<
Well let's just kill this giant string of comments, IMO miami is better than c9, and i respect your opinion
don't get me wrong.
miami looks cool.
but i'm being objective
thats just pretentious. You can't be objective when it comes to judging effects. It is better if you say "i go by what the popular opinion is."
i don't play tf2,and personally don't care about the effects.
if judging it by what's popular,
where do you see me being subjective in that ?
i stopped reading at "i dont play tf2"
you should continue.
being objective starts with that sentence
no.
Your opinion is meaningless, objectively
now you are being too subjective
says the guy that hasnt played tf2 in 2014.
sigh.
but i'm trading for a year. and am obviously more successful than you.
nice ad hominem.
Also, i only used $50 dollars to have what i have.
#trollgoaway
heh i only used 20
sure you did ;^)
that's why i'm all that happier xd
fact that you don't believe me,makes my trading abilities even greater
cool story brah
proof too old
downvote
To support proof: Sold mine today for 1 Bud + Steaming Texas Ten Gallon. I was trying to quicksell it for 2 buds. Moreover I've got offer to buy duped one for 25 keys but I think it was scammed so that's why price was old. But still I couldn't sell it for 2 buds pure so I think suggested range is better than old price.
The proof is supported by someone who doesnt even play tf2. That tells you how bad this price suggestion actually is.
I got offered scorching flames prancer's (3 buds first gen effect) pride for mine a hours ago - another person beat me to it and sold it to them
There's the person's backpack who bought it http://www.tf2outpost.com/backpack/243424
Just for clarification, here is a formal assessment of how duping affects a hat value: http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/6033-new-unusual-price-suggestion-guide-the-cheat-sheet/#entry167485
Basically, a hat being duped has little to no effect on hats under 3 buds in value. A peace brigade, duped or not, is still over 1 buds in value.
This doesn't really matter here since there is plenty of proof that the suggested range is better than the current one. There are even sales under 2
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21950604 - he tried selling for 2 buds before
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21926264
Range is probably close here
