The only reason why I'm hesitant is because he was not marked at the time of the trade

Yeah, he wasn't marked at the time, so I guess it's okay.. This probably won't sell for a while now, so maybe we should leave this open and just report the sale, like we do with other 20+ bud hats

It's no longer in creamy's bp, so maybe he did sell it. Although I'm guessing it's in an alt or with a broker.

"If you the glove don't fit, you must acquit!"

I think if he wasn't marked at the time it's no different than any other sale that took place then the users got banned later. That has probably happened hundreds of times already.

Well, the issue here is that several interested traders did not go after it because he was marked. As forte indicates in the SR report (he happens to be a bubble pipe collector, or used to be), he would have offered more if DMG didn't have the obvious mark on outpost. This could have gone for more. That's really our concern for marked people as proof in suggestions, especially on high tiers.

Wait so he was or wasn't marked at the time? Or was he banned on outpost, but not marked yet and subsequently marked shortly after?

Either way, in the interested of protecting the next I boxer from getting sharked I think it should be updated. It might still be low, but it's better than the current

Yeah. He was marked on SR shortly after. I suspect that's no coincidence.... He was banned on outpost though. And that was enough to dissuade experienced traders. See Pretendeer's comment on Creamy's first report. He warned people against these sorts of trades before.

Trading with ppl banned for being a "fence" will get you banned right (on outpost at least)? I know Bob got temp perm banned for trading with Buehla, so what happens with creamy since he has essentially done this twice (and had yet to be banned on even outpost, and he's an admin)? I know you probably don't want to answer this but any give-able info would be nice to know since I've had ppl marked as "fences" add me to trade before, but I declined.

There's no straightforward answer. Trading with a hijacker alt / scammer is obvious. Should you get banned for trading with someone who traded with a scammer? How about trading with someone who traded with someone who traded with a scammer? Do we mark people for trading with other people who are marked even though the trade itself is several ones down the line? I don't think there's a straight answer there, and even different SR / outpost / bp.tf admins will have different opinions on the matter.

Obviously, you don't want to reward people for making unethical choices that promote scamming / hijacking in the community as a whole. But at some point you have to be realistic about what is "reasonable" to expect of casual traders who will just end up leaving trading altogether if they have to spend 30 minutes doing research on every trade they make. Best I can tell you is use your common sense / judgment with any trade. If you have to ask yourself whether you should trade with a shady individual, probably means that you shouldn't.

I've been declining trading with anyone banned on any site since I've started trading (I'd hope it doesn't take 30 min for the casual trader to find steamrep, outpost, and bp.tf and see if the person is banned). I am though however, extremely curious how this will play out with creamy. If he gets off with a slap on the wrist, something is seriously wrong especially since he's an admin. Anyways, don't answer this, this is just me blabbing. thanks for your response.

Meh. Can resuggest if it sells again. Better than the current price. And honestly, it's probably not too far off.
