The halloween hype is here!
Listed then sold them straight away!
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21834748 - 5 ref
You need proof of the sales, eg SS'S of trade history.
Solds* at least show your trade history
smell like price manipulation
Here we go~
http://imgur.com/jjsM0nA
i checked your tf2outpost and you sold 3 of them
i need proofs of last 2 items while you sold them
EDIT2: the option about friend is redeemed
Just because its his friend doesn't mean it can be ruled out.
Sorry, i haven't unfriended them yet.
why are you posting this again?
show me your trade history
he posted above, 3 for 2 keys
Sound suspicious to me.
well, last halloween it had a rise from like 1~ to 3~
but i think killstreaks were added after that.
further making the already low supply.... lower
so it's not completely impossible. still, only his sales don't help
It's not like that. I agree that a rise is possible but OP sold all 3 less than an hour and history doesn't show new owners, make this even more suspicious. It's easy as hell to create an alt, move all the items to it then claim they have been sold at the seller's price.
"About that Bubbling Billy, I do believe that 2 hats were traded before Outpost could receive information of old owners (Yes, that happens)"
some guy said that :P
It just supports my first statement (OP sold all 3 less than an hour). I agree that it happens but sold 3 at less than an hour while http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21782991 took like half of a day to sell it. The demand of so can't rise that fast.
Still very suspicious.
well yea,he said that :P
anyhow
http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198066177814
he has them.
beats me why someone with his BP and no trades on outpost would need 4 of them.
but fact that he has 4,and not 3. might show that its not a manipulation
He can use the alt to store them. The quality doesn't matter here.
And rocket-jumping backpack value? Even more suspicious.
seems too much of work for 6 ref profit
Post here 1 hard-to-believe sale to manipulate price.
Hmm, you are right, take too much work.
i'm lazy,what can is say ?
wut?
i mean.
from my perspective it is a lot of work.
IF I take a look at The history it still says you own Them lol
i checked the buyers backpack, and updated the history of the items
so much for that
MISC HYPE!
something this comment is dumb but it has some rights
The hype isn't here yet, I bought one of these a couple weeks ago for under 3 ref, easy downvote.
>"couple weeks ago"
>last updated 23 hours ago
Couple weeks ago, as in two. I guess I should of clarified that. As in the price below I'd have to agree this is more then likely price manipulation. LOL if you notice the same guy bought all 3 for 5 ref each? yea.. right.
can't argue with that
#toomuchfreetimeatwork
So the backpack history doesn't reflect these items were moved into it, nor do we see any major fluctuation in BP value or items moved. http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198066177814
As we can see, he's gained more items and appears to have gained these 3 Bats without any of his items moving. I would also like to address that there is a pair of Brainiac Goggles crafted by...None other then our suggester. The user in the above link, also has not done anything on outpost, as the item history shows him as his link ID on his steam page.
I'm finding it VERY hard to believe a user would just randomly use Outpost to find 3 of these Bats, and manage to buy them without almost any of his inventory moving. More importantly, The 2 keys that it was bought for appears to never have entered either inventory according to your backpack history as well. No keys match up any history to this event.
Everything to me screams it's an Alt, especially when it comes down to the details. There's just too much to overlook it.
And more importantly, I see you 2 of these 3 Bat outta Hells entering your BP on the 7th, and then the third on the 8th. Care to show us what you bought them for?
Edit: I didn't have to look to hard to see what one was bought for, I see one selling for "lower BP prices" here: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21776197 You are the next person in the history, meaning we can value that at 3 ref.
I find yet another one of his that he bought from here http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21788198 Yet again, for BP prices with him next in the history.
Also, this one was from 3 days ago http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21782991 The suggestion that pasted yesterday has this as proof as well.
This is clear price manipulation. Downvote.
If you are under the impression that it is an alt account, maybe you should add the account on Steam and talk the owner of the account.. to discuss the legitimacy of the account.
And what will that accomplish? I could make an alt then say it's not me on there all the same. Anyone can pose as anyone else they so wish on 2 different accounts, regardless of the user behind the keyboard.
As much as you're mean to have the benefit of doubt, how can you prove it either way, that it is an alt or not?
Using deduction and logical thinking, we can put the pieces together to determine there is a high possibility that it is your alt.
I can also counter-query that by asking: Can you prove it's not your alt?
Even that aside, you still failed to report what you bought them for which is cherry picking evidence. That my friend, is price manipulation for failing to report that when it was a recently done sale.
Legitimacy of the proof is too much in question to validate suggested range.
Closing.
