Since there are so many doubts about that 10 buds B/O sale, I decided to do a mini on the roboactive slopes, and it fits in right at 13 buds, which is the previous seller's B/O (1 month).

      I actually don't see why skyline's trade should be used at all when he himself was selling this at 13 buds for more than a month.

        He was trying to shift it to pure, I believe, originally he said he was quickselling.

          If it took him more than one month to sell it for at least 13 buds in unusuals, then I seriously doubt it could be called a quicksale. Bear in mind that he did not sell it for 13 buds pure, but 13-14 buds in unusuals.

              I don't know why you think that this has sold for much more in the past based on one sale which we are unsure of what it actually sold for. First of all, Skyline's is not even usable at all. Skyline bought this from a marked scammer's alt and I'm pretty sure he was banned previously because of that. Scammer sales are not valid proof as stated in the rules.


              The proof is there, he asked for 13 buds for a month before selling it for something similar in unusuals. If you seriously think this should be higher, I'm sorry to say that it's just your opinion, just like the rest of the comments below. I could say that a burning pyromancer should be 40 buds because I think so, but realistically, it doesn't work that way.

      I'd just like to clarify something about my "massive overpay". When I offered the Luger for his hat that was under his old b/o of 20 buds as seen in his older trade http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21720707. The offer was then negotiated to include all of the other random stuff seen in the final trade through steam chat after adding him. What I failed to notice was that sometime before I went through with the trade he dropped his b/o to 10 buds in a new trade (the one posted earlier)


      I'm not really sure why this happened, but I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say it was most likely due to a lack of trading experience on his part (look at his account and bp, he also asked some kind of noob trading question I can't quite remember) as opposed to malicious intent. Am I an idiot for not noticing until it was too late? Sure. Does that mean the worth of this hat deserves to be as low as previously suggested? No. Personally give the fact that it's a god-tier gen 1 effect and that only 2 exist I would say it's true worth around ~15 buds. However, I'm perfectly willing to accept the price as 13 for now given how tough selling it has been (EFF has had a hard time selling as well). Hopefully that clears some things up, thanks for reading!

      GUYS LISTEN, the b/o was an accident. Somehow my previous B/O of 20 was changed to B/O of 10? Listen guys, it is not 10 buds, and 13 buds for this hat is unnecessary. That is why i got paid around 17 buds, please disregard that B/O. cheers
