Both proofs from the last suggestion were 2+ months old.
Most recent sale: Sold for Buds+black BMOC + 44 keys = 75 keys in promos/pure (6 days ago) http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19297075
Note: Person who bought it gifted it to someone, hence them not being in the history.

As suspect as that OP statement sounds, this should go some way to confirming said trade happened, based on a quick jot of research.
How much did you buy yours for (and, if relevant, when)?
I bought mine for a P.E. whoopee cap, 10 months ago
Oh, Jirgon, I didn't know you were suggesting, but 2+ months old sales are still valid so maybe a range will be good here.
I hope you remember me.
http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/6033-new-unusual-price-suggestion-guide-the-cheat-sheet/ It says here that 2+ months old is not valid proof
Don't know why I was thinking 3 months is the limit, but if you put it that way it's an Upvote from me.
"Exceptions: For very rare hats, if there have only been 1-2 sales in the last 3 months, a trade up to 3 months old is okay to use as proof to establish more data points."
If there's a sale between 2-3 months old, then use it if you can
Just so you know, when i made the suggestion, those weren't outdated proofs yet but now it is after 2 weeks.
Yeah i know, don't worry. Your suggestion was fine, it just needs an update now.
