Second ever suggestion, first one was a complete disaster but I have learned from my mistakes! (Disclaimer, I have no interest in pricing this unusual for my own benefit I just rejected an offer of it on my trade and thought it might need a price.)
First proof: Sold for 8 keys pure and some sweets amounting to around 10 keys. (possibly a quicksell)
Backpack before: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198008190814?time=1406358000
Backpack after: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198008190814?time=1406444400
Second proof: Sold for an autralium tomislav (pro killstreak), a b.m.o.c (black painted) .and a strange original (specialized killstreak.)
I am valuing these using steam community market/trade.tf prices since backpack.tf doens't have a killstreak pricing system but obviously I should add. The b.m.o.c I value at 11 keys since black paint is 2 keys. The original I value at 6 keys. The tomislav I value at 18 keys. This all together is worth 26 keys and after calculating overpay this ends up as 23.5 keys which rounds up to 24 keys.

Third proof: Sold for 10 keys in an auction on bazaar.tf

Bit of an ugly range but makes sense.
Please leave feedback and criticisms.
Range is too wide
Is there a limit to range sizes? I didn't realise.
There is no limit per say, but for an item this low in value its not good to have a range this wide
Surely though it wouldn't be good to completely ignore proofs to make it a nicer range.
the whole point of pricing is so that people can check and see a rough estimate of what people are willing to pay for a certain hat. If it has an extremely large range like this then it's less helpful in determining what a reasonable price for it would be. I'm thinking your 23.5 sale is an outlier
the 10 keys is 100% quick-sale it sold in less then a day (note nvm the 24 keys seems to be the outlier ),,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
dat range
Weird range, but I like it
I personally hate annoying ranges but if it makes sense then there's no other way.
Range is pretty awful. There's no clear idea of what it's true value is really.
Would it be possible to just call the 24 key one an anomaly and find some more proof that supported a smaller range then? Because it looks like this suggestion is most likely going to fail.
Yes: sales outside the expected range are typically called outliers. If you see something that looks dodgy, it's totally fine to exclude it if it doesn't make much sense compared to the others.
Ok, I'll resuggest with that in mind! However, the problem I'm having is that to get more proof I'd need to get premium and I don't have enough right now, is there any other way of finding who has the unusual in their bp?
I think it's possible to ask someone nicely if they'll search them. Regardless, I managed to turn up 3 more craniums using other tools.

Edit: with your 2, that seems to be all of them. My 3 have some recent sales, you should be able to dig something up.
Great, thanks a lot, out of curiosity, what tools did you use? :D For future reference
A bit of magic ;)
But in future it's probably best to ask someone with premium nicely. There's a rule against sharing info I think, but for a single item used constructively like this, it should be fine.
Thanks for all the help, I'll resuggest with a better range in a bit c:
