    http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/22080188 - quicksold for 4.33 without a bump

    http://www.trade.tf/trade/483107407 - sold for 4.66

proof is very limited but it reflects the current market given how so many are painted and there's several quickbuyers at 4.33

    upvote

yeah, all are quicksales as well - gone within a bump at most

there are more solds at 4.33 then 4.66 though.. i dont see why this should change if 1 was sold and their are multiple on outpost not painted.

2 have sold for 4.66, 2 have declined 4.66 offers, one has sold for 4.44. Then there's 4 quicksales at 4.33

NOBODY asking for 4.33 or less (save for that one 4 ref seller who is far more dead than marilyn monroe's disintegraded corpse.).

There's a buyer for 4.66 (in items) and 4+ quickbuyers in pure at 4.33 who aren't quite exactly successful.

suggests 5 ref not incluiding taxes (if taxes were taken into account then it'd be ~6 ref)

I don't see a reason for this not to go up

again, you can apply quickbuyers to prices...... you also cant apply the steam community market to prices, because then keys should be worth ~2.40$ before taxes, and ~2.20$ after taxes..

unsuccessful quickbuyers at current prices indicate an item is worth more than that, SCM can be applied to pretty much any item as supporting proof, keys being the only exception. for instance, see j-j-jon's old botkiller weapon suggestions - they were all mostly based on SCM yet still accepted.

then why is every time someone uses the SCM as proof they get rejected? why was this rejected? http://backpack.tf/vote/id/53f10b154fd7b89f288b49d6 also, prices could be manipulated so much if that could be used as proof for a price suggestion, also please explain this: http://i.gyazo.com/35a39e47ccbc8cfc5952d40c4bf8e677.png why are bills hats only considered $10.86 when theyre worth 6 keys and a key is worth ~2.40 on the SCM, and a key is only $1.81 on the SCM, also if a bud is 19 keys, why do they value it at $34.38 when ~2.4 x 19 = $45.60?

also, backpack.tf says themselves that SCM is not valid evidence: http://i.gyazo.com/7457530cb558a7d3432c9fe77325fc81.png

full pricing guide states that "SCM can be used as supporting proof but can't be relied on" - as I said, currency itself is an exemption from this - everything else revolves around what the market values currency at. for instance, if an item sells for, let's say, $1.50, it would be valued at $1.50/$2.40 keys since keys sell at 2.40 on the market (incluiding fees, as both sides include fees), the actual paypal value is never used.

it says exactly "The Steam Community Market is great for buying items convieniently. However, the 15% fee on each sale means that item prices on the SCM are almost always inflated to compensate. Therefore, please do not use SCM prices as evidence." it does not say at all that it can be used for support of your suggestion.

Edit: incase you don't believe me, the rules are right here: http://backpack.tf/help/suggestions

Your protecting this suggestion based on its SCM sales.. The rules, backpack.tf's rules ask you not to use SCM as evidence.. i don't understand how you could possibly get away with suggesting something based off of SCM sales if it says it right in their OWN rules not to.

I'm using it to support it, it's not my only argument for. on the other hand, your only support is "the amount of 4.33 solds which largely exceed any above" which is invalid anyway given that they're all quicksales

if its selling at 4.33 perfectly fine, and only has 2 sales at 4.66 why should it change? its obviously selling alot for 4.33. The rules also say that you can't use quickbuy trades...

8 out of the 13 links there are quickbuying trades.

quickbuying trades are not valid proof when lowering prices - though a mass amount of buyers at a certain price point might indicate that it could in fact be a quicksale price.

dude, I have like 1.2k more accepted suggestions than you, don't you think I'd know how to do stuff at this point?

it always leads to that dosnt it.. obviously youre not going to give up even though it makes absolutely no sense what so ever.

abiding by rules without taking common sense into account is, basically, lacking knowledge of the rationale thereof

...okay that doesn't make any sense

mmm but, being that i have respect for you, I'll stop arguing about a .17 refined price change.

You know you can edit your comments instead of spamming right?

Ok, we understand that 4.33 is practically a quicksell. Now show us that 4.66 belongs in the range. 1 rejected offer and 1 sale at 4.66 isn't going to be enough.

There are only like 5 unpainted on Outpost, making it very difficult to find blank ones to price with. I'm actually on the fence.

wow... this is what i found all unpainted
