As a side note to this, 3keys is clearly the common sale point (sells decently and plenty of people selling for 3 keys) so i wont constantly spam sellers at 3 keys to prove the lower range when it's already part of the current price. Just classifieds has plenty selling for 3 keys and there are many available at 3.5keys.

Everyone starting buying these things for higher and higher, then one day the people making profit didn't make it anymore.

The most expensive item from this "crate" is the s.snack attack which is a bit below 4 keys, not to mention the low chance of uncrating. The initial hype which carried this item is the only reason why it continuously went up as everyone rushed out to buy but after a while it became a price based off hype

The reasoning behind the box's price rise isn't about what's inside of it. It is because of it being an increasingly rare item. After the price crashes, which will happen as dramatically as it rose during the hype, it will begin to rise gradually again until it is worth 1+ bud(s)

rarity doesnt mean a thing unless people are willing to pay for them, and clearly this item doesnt seem to be that appealing. theres 92 sandvich boxes in the world and that hasnt stopped it from going donw in price, so i dont see how as theres over 7k of these bread boxes this will ever be worth more than they are just now

lol, you do realize that the robosandvich is worth 15 keys and theres under 100 sandvich boxes while the most expensive thing that comes out of the bread box is 4 keys, and theres 7000 of them. better sell them fast while theres still people buying them, especially if you have 3 of them. good luck mate, youre gonna need it

My tradable UHHHH is under a few hundred in existance (and mine is special leveled) and it's been a few years already, rarity doesnt mean expensive. There needs to be a demand for the item for it to go up, i.e. high demand but no supply = bidding up prices.

Rare does not mean anything, if there is no demand for a certain rare item, the prices of it will come down instead of going up.

Many of those trades haven't been bumped or updated for a while, I count that as invalid proof. Most of the ones selling at 3-3.3 keys look like they haven't been bumped.

I went through all the trades on outpost, ignoring the highballers and sellers which had trades which were weeks old (refer to my notes in the suggestion) this is all you get.

As a note, classifieds have plenty of people selling @3keys and many below that as well.

I bought mine for less than 3, i can provide screenshots if you like

Many of the comments here show that 3 keys is a hard sale, not to mention th large number of sellers @3keys in the classifieds

They may be a little old, but they're all sold quickly. The last price change was 8 days ago, so 5 days should still be valid, if not 1 week.

Normally I would agree however with this item where its price if based completely off hype the more recent the proof the better. Atm there are plenty of sellers for 3 keys and some even lower easily available both in classifieds and outpost, users are indicating it is a hard sale at 3.5 keys pretty hard to argue that 4 keys should be in the range using 1week old proof.

Not valid anymore, all of the links you posted were during hype, post at least a recent sale of a day/two then we shall see. I had trouble selling mine 3.5 keys. It took me almost 2 days to sell 3 at 3.5 keys which is far below 4 keys, if there were huge demand, mine should have been gone within an hour, if not that within few hours at most not a whole day/two days.

It isn't good if a Moderator immediately posted showing how hard it is to sell for above 3 keys. Not to mention he bought some for approx. 2 keys each and struggling to get 4 keys.

he said it was no more than 3.3-4, indicating that they sell at both of these prices (and in between of course). he never said it was hard to sell for above 3 keys, he actually said 3 keys sold quickly

Even others are complaining about how hard it is to sell for just 3 keys.

Sigh again please take a look at the market yourself they are constantly available for 3 keys, I'm not going so constantly spam sellers at 3 keys until a mod makes decision. Just classifieds has plenty selling for 3 keys and there are many available at 3.5keys.

And this if anything proves my range...ie a majority of sales are around 3-3.5keys. Again plenty of sellers willing to sell for 3 keys and 4keys is clearly not happening on a regular basis to be in the range

Plenty of sellers for 3 keys, ie many people are regularly willing to sell for 3 keys and people are willing to buy for 3 keys. 3.5keys and higher is a very hard sale.

And yes i agree that it shouldnt be based off quicksales but again for the fourth time there are plenty of sellers for 3 keys that it should be in the range and 3.5keys and higher takes a while to sell.

Note: when i said look at the market i mean look at the trades on outpost and classifieds, not trade.tf where it only shows "good deals"
