I bought it for a Stormy Storm Front Runner(1.8 with overpay, idk why it's listed as outdated since it hasn't fully been 3 months), a Stormy Storm Backwards Ballcap(2.3 with Overpay), a Dead Presidents Bonk Boy(3.3 with Overpay), a Bubbling Nanobalaclava(11 Keys with Overpay) a White Bill's Hat(7 Keys) and 1 Key.(8.4 Total, rounding to 8.5)

That's not true. All Halloween effects have a chance of being unboxed during every Halloween event each year.

But the chances are so low it may not happen again this year.

.1% chance to get an unusual, .about a .25% chance to get that hat, and about a .5% chance to get that effect. Talk about shit chances.

At that point, i'd just get a lottery ticket, probably have better chances.

Lottery tickets are a way better deal than unboxing. 1 buck and you have a chance at a lot of money, and even the lowest prize is more value than the low tiers. But lottery tickets dont have particle effects so they a shit.

I dont think people realize how asanine the odds that are against them are. If you think about it, you're "guaranteed" an unusual every 180-200 keys. So, every 250 bucks or so. Unboxing is straight up cray.

actually, if you wanted to be more exact: (assuming you unbox a regular non-robo crate during halloween and no other unusual-quality hats are made available post-event)

approx. 1 in 200 chance of unusual

1/293 chance of getting the hat (291 assuming that Noh Mercy and Veil are retired)

1/(17+x) chance of getting this specific effect (x being the amount of effects added next year, previously being 4, 3 and 8; in that order. so, let's assume x is either 6 or 7 so we got 1/23 and 1/24 as high possibilities)

sooo we got ~0.0000007% chances of unboxing one during the event, which lasts ~ 2 weeks or so
