Before there were 1000's of hats and F2P there were only a limited number of hats and a fraction of the effects now. This was very themed in the day and still holds up.

Explains why it's worth less than cloud 9?

Got no idea dude why cloud 9 is worth more. Its a higher tier effect. Seen a number of nuts on engy or flames on pyro's go for cheap as well. The manipulation in pricing is how you need to ride it. Not a sexy hat and not a sexy effect. Together its a fitting effect and when there weren't so many unusuals it was considered a tight hat to own.

How does price manipulation relate to this?

I was just about to open this exact same suggestion for 1 bud. Good work beating me to it =P

Sale 4(my sale) was 3bud+flies handle for highfive taunt. He wanted 4 buds for the taunt and we both agreed that the handle was worth 1 bud. He later sold it for 1 bud. I payed 21 keys pure for the handle because theme hype, and it was the only clean one I could find at the time.(hehe clean)

P.S the highfive was offered as a quicksell in my buying quicksells for pure trade. Shouldn't be used as a suggestion for a price, deff an outlier.
