Shouldn't the overpay be considered in this situation?

It was, 6*.9 is 5.4 rounded to ~5.5

The scorching bonnet should be used to price this since there are more sales for that. No overpay since it was offered. That would put it at 4.5-5.5. Not really an issue with your scorching bonnet suggestion since you had another link supporting your high end so I accepted it.
