Why not suggest at a bud?
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21984548 sold for a s. pro ks pan (9 keys for the pan, prof kit is 27.65 on the market, 27.65*.85/1.8=13). (9+13)*.9= 19.8, round to 20 keys.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/22118327 sold for a flies flipped trillby (outdated but b/o of 17 keys) => http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/22216853
So
1.) You need more than a single sale
2.) price looks like it's 17-20 keys
3.) If you decide to keep your price anyways for whatever reason, resuggest as a bud.
downvote
1) Two sales are only required if the hat has never been priced before. This is not the case although one sale is underwhelming considering there are 21 TW Dixies.
2) I wouldn't use the killstreak sale to price the high-end but the seller willing to accept 17 keys is pretty important.
Good advice Eric!
Dammit I always screw up how many sales are needed >:(. Fair enough. I find SCM data pretty sketchy usually, when people start taking into account the 15% valve fees, past sales, current listings, and 1.8-2.5 for keys. Unfortunately, it's all I know for pricing killstreaks. That being said, thanks for the compliment :D. I mainly wanted to show that there has been more than 1 recent sale, so more should be considered.
Well I dont think pro ks adds 100% of its value to the item, and thats also a reason why I wont make the high end 20 keys. :P
Killstreaks are harder to give a specific price and are generally not used as reliable proof for an end.
As you said, outdated hat, not reliable for an end, but could be easily updated and used to counter this range.
Yeah I get that killstreaks are difficult to assess. Just wanted to show that there was more than 1 recent sale. I would have done a mini on the trilby, but I didn't because 1 I had to go to class so time was a concern 2 I just wanted to provide counter evidence, not create my own suggestion 3 His sale was hard to track (sold for a low craft and keys) and as adding him and talking was too much work and would take too much time, I didn't want to get deep with it.
With the advice you and Pulse gave me, if I were to make a suggestion for this hat, I would use the 1 bud proof given here and the sale for the trilby, and then do a mini on the trilby to give it a relevant price.
Yeah exactly.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21856894 - probably close to 1 buds
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21570663 - 20 keys
Given the b/o of 18, range probably should be 18-20, but close enough.
