There should always be enough evidence to back up the new proposed value. However, it appears that the evidence is not strong enough, or cherry-picked in a way that does not represent the actual market value of the item. Therefore, this suggestion has been closed.

Your proof links contain more sales for 7.55 than they do for 7.88. Bots should never be used as the bulk of your proof.

As we get closer to Halloween, keys may need an increase, but this suggestion is far too unconvincing for such a common item.

And for everyone quoting the cooldown rules, that rule explicitly does not apply to large adjustments. This suggestion is being closed for it's lack of evidence, not its timing.

Tl;dr: bots selling at 7.66-7.77 are out of stock. There is a few player and bots selling for 8.11-8.33 but they don't seem to sell much. 7.88-8 seems the best range to me.

No. You still need to wait 2 more days, the price was just updated and the sales and sellers could not be stabilized yet.

Ah, I did not see that. But it is still obvious that the market has not yet reached a stable selling and sale point.

Well, the thing is that the actual price is outdated, and need a change. Someone else will make another proposition when the price will be stable enough.

You're right, it does need a change, but I don't think this drastic, it's only been a day since the price changed people are still adapting.

Well sure, it's drastic, I was going to put 7.66-7.88 as range to be honest. But that isn't what the market says. I try to be neutral, as bp.tf just reflect the current price.

When they say unless the price changed, they mean previously changed not making the change right now so the cooldown still applies

People can only read the first post and then don't care for the rest. The next person who says the cool-down rate is in effect shall be slapped with my hand. And try to find more proof. You have enough, but the more u have the less likely some admin will shut this down.

Total agreement. Everything on the classifieds under 7.77 is disappearing in seconds, and all my favourite trade-bots jacked up their prices twice over the last three days.

Mass flocking when they started to rise drove it even higher.

What started the rise, not sure.

7.44-7.55 isn't the normal key price. Before the bread update, keys were worth 8+ Ref usually and when the update came everyone tried to dump their keys into metal to buy hats for the bread boxes and such. Updates jack up the economy FYI.

They got all the way up to 8.55.

Then they crashed to 7.33.

And now they are here.

I really hope they don't too much higher.

A better question is; why the sudden drop?

They dropped very soon after expiration date.

Everyone sold their keys for ref for breadboxes or new cosmetics.

The massive amount of keys caused the initial drop.

More people flocked to sell them before they dropped any more.

And that's why there was a massive drop.
