No if you have people selling for less than the proof shown you can use it as a low end, not high end NEVER.

How you should use B/Os: All of this does not mean that B/Os are not useful. Use B/Os to give a general sense of your range. If a hat remains unsold for 2 weeks with a B/O of 2 buds, a sale at 3 is probably an outlier. Use them to check whether your suggested range makes sense. Just don't use them as the only proof to set both your range.

We have an unsold at 2.5, a sold at 3 and an offer at 3 pure. There's a lot of evidence for 3, but if 3 is valid, then what's up with the 2.5 unsold?

Setting a range:

Low End: Set the low end no lower than commonly offered / traded values of a hat (see "What is a quicksell?" below).

High End: Set the high end no higher than common b/o's and bounded by the high end sales and offers.

I'm not trying to be THAT guy, I just don't understand why it's usable as the low end.

first, I agree on the fact that it seems weird to price this higher than 2.5, but remember that the tyrantium was offered alongside another hat and some pure, which was likely not to be rejected. The tyrantium itself didnt had any offer on it, so he had to offer it to sell it. In this case I think it's valid to price this above 2.5.

2nd sale is not complex, he added 1 unusual and some pure, not like 4 or more unusuals.

He saying that the third one (1.4) may not be an outlier, but in fact a valid proof.

It just seems too much to me for that hat...

As for your proofs:

- (#3) The Blizz Tyrantium with 2.5 buds B/O has no offers for 1 month, except for a DBD fez which is 2.1 (and outdated).

- (#1) The Roboactive tyrantium in your suggestion also has a terrible price. You're pretty much basing this hat on an outdated (and terribly overpriced) hat.

- I don't think #2 is an outlier, I think it reflects the correct price. You're saying this based on the offers on a 11 month old trade (#4), which is not a good thing.

Good research and effort, but it doesn't reflect the reality due to outdated/incorrect prices. I don't think this hat is worth more than 1.5-2. Downvote.

ps. My bot has been trying to sell a KW Tyrantium for 43 keys (30% off) for over a month now. Simply put, my logic (and data) tells me Blizz<KW, and this would never sell for 3 buds. We would just be fooling people with a wrong price.

yeah...it doesn't work like that, a cancer effect can be worth more than any other, e.g flies swagman(even tho it's themed). We don't price unusuals on the criteria of which effect is better and which is worse. About your bot selling a tyrantium, it's a summer effect, this is a first gen so yeah, that was senseless.

On my proofs:

Roboactive tyrantium's price is not 100% accurate but it's just to give it a temporary price, and, harvest jeepcap is not outdated...(If it was it would still have no problems since it's just a mini.)

The 2.5 b/o tyrantium got just one offer because people don't like a lot these robo hats, just like your kw one, no demmand on this, that's why I could find so little sales.

I know exactly how to price unusuals, and I am saying this unusual price suggestion is wrong because you ignored the only not-outdated sale as an outlier, and considered a) 11 month old trade, b) 11 month old hat (robo tyrantium) to set the price. This is just wrong. Even the regular Blizz Tyran'ts helm has a less price than your suggestion.

Regardless of how many you or I have suggested, I'm trying to get these unusuals priced on correct data, not on outdated data. Stop being defensive and be more reasonable. Pricing things based on outdated trades, offers and prices is not doing anyone any benefit. Your "damn mini" is worse than the price of the actual hat. I am trying to get the unusual prices right in this website. So many things are wrong, let's make them better. The guy clearly used the old price of the tyrantium to sell his jeepcap, which brings us back to the pricing of roboactive tyrantium. I would say do more research on the robo tyrantium before this is concluded, but there are too few of those also.

Anything more than 2.5 looks like an outlier with that 2.5 bud B/O for 3 weeks honestly. This hat might not be able to be priced yet looking at the overall proof.
