A quick search on TF2 Outpost will lead you to many bud sellers in the $35 range, but a few at $34. So you could easily get buds at $34 each.
Pricing buds at $34 each: $1000 / $34 = 29.4 + 10 = 39.4, rounding to 40 since buds could be a little less than $34 each.
Shadow is not putting this beauty back on market and it looks like he won't sell it for a while.

Regardless, it won't be for sale anytime soon, cuz shadow bought it. Better than nothing.

Doesn't really matter in this case really, since Shadow is not reselling it. Also, I don't think Shadow is an unusual "quickbuyer". He pays a good price for good hats he wants since he's a collector.
Also, the Beams War Pig is priced at 47 buds but it's 5 months outdated. That price is pretty high considering it only got offers in the ~30 range. Plus, the Beams War Pig owner offered it to me for less in buds, which shows that it really isn't 47 anymore.
I feel like this could of gotten a lot more than 40 buds lol
War Pigs have lost a ton of demand, just isn't worth investing in anymore.

This isn't valid proof. You only have a snippet of a steam conversation. You have no proof that is the "real" is0man420 [the seller], as someone could potentially had the same name as him. Also, even if that really is the original owner, his claim is just heresay at best. He could have just as easily said "i got $3000 moneypak + 10 buds" instead of $1000. That, combined with the fact that this quicksold merely in a few hours, even if it did go for a value of 40, as others have said above it surely would have gotten more if more people had an opportunity to offer on it before it sold.
Downvote until another sale happens. Sorry, this isn't concrete proof and even if the sale is legit it surely is a quicksale.

I'm sorry. Are you suggesting that you lied to Short Circuit previously or are you lying now? The screenie shows that you said you paid 1000 USD + 10 buds, later converted to 1300 USD. It either sold for that much or it didn't.
Can someone try asking him for a screenie of his trade history and MoneyPak history? Every time I ask him, he says he'll do it in a few minutes but never does it..
