You have to have 2 SALES. Which means you either sell your hat, and find another person who also sold it, or find how much you bought it for, and sell yours, then use both of those sales to make a price suggestion.

I've been told that most serious unusual traders won't bother with bptf unusual pricing
they told me that the guy got it for max 2 bud he didnt know for sure but i got it for a quicksell so thats the high end
