Its a belt on original/stock sniper hat, same as stash for soldier, when you equip trophy belt with master's belt, u can't see the hat, only the belt (trophy belt)

This suggestion is rubbish. But the misc hype is true since the belt actually doesnt come with the hat, just the belt. This shares common attributes to that of the Mining Light. This makes it one of the more believable misc hypes. However sniper currently has 3 miscs (Yellow belt, Soldered Sensei and Veil), making the odds unlikely... However thats what we thought for engie, and look what happened.
