Hi all, i'm a collector and this one is not for trade. I crafted it myself. Only 1 one of these exists so i could not find proof of other prices.

I am basing my price suggestion the lowest priced collector's hats i could find which are the Pencil Pusher and Outdoorsman (4 buds):

I would say the minimum value of this item is 2 buds because simply the metal involved to craft this is 266 refined which is currently 1.82 buds and then there is the fact that only of this item exists so that gives it extra value but my gut says 2 buds for this hat and the other hats is just a bit too low.

I did read the price suggestion guide but it does not explicitly say that you are not allowed to start a vote if the item has never been sold. It says 'The most common way of gathering evidence is to link to trade posts that other users have made that back up your new price suggestion.'

Therefore suggesting there are uncommon ways? I mean, like i said simply the worth of metal to craft it would be the minimum value for this item.

Bought for 4 buds, cost 5.4 to craft

if no one wants to buy it for the minimun, it doesnt matter. if not solds, your proof should be based off of offers made to you for this item, put it up for trade to test the waters, maybe people do want it, maybe not, there is no answer untill you do

those are only ancient suggestions from the early days of bptf when suggesting was less strict/regulated

It means trade posts as in outpost trades, bp.tf listings etc, proof that it has sold before at your suggested price

The Pencil Pusher and Outdoorsman have nothing to do with the Sack, they aren't even for the same class. They do not reflect the price of the hat in any way.

Yea, their also both 1.66 hats while the sack is a 1.33 hat

Yes. I would say that if an item is truly unique it is a property that increases the price. Are you saying this is not logical? Why?

I didn't say it wasn't logical, but unfortunately for your backpack's value, it's not how it works

you're missing the effort that's put into collecting that many of a single hat and getting the chem set itself
