Any item with paint on it is not valid proof. The owner can ask for any price for the item weather it include full value of the paint or none and usually they take longer to sell.

    Sold within current range

    http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23044184 4 hours 1 key

    Current Range is fine

      2days isn't young really

If 172,800 seconds isn't considered young then what do you consider young and what do you consider old? for me 1-3 days is young. 5-10 days is old. and 4 is the buffer between them.

And anyway If the person doesn't have auto bump, and goes to school for 6 hours a day and sleeps for 8-10 hours a day then that person only has 8 hours where they can bump their trade. and even then they have other things to do so they might get around to bumping it 4-5 times.

2 Days Old Aren't Considered Young Anymore, For Instance If You Claim 4 Days Are Barely Old, Pricing Suggestions Will Be Definitely Harder Than Usual.

What are you talking about? For an unsold unique item Trade being used to disprove the current range, 2 days is young.

Having sold 2 unusuals I know for a fact that you will not be able to sell your unusual within a week. It may even take a month. And anyway to change a price of an unusual you need to focus on sales not unsolds. And lets look at one of my suggestions as an example.

This is a price drop for the Genuine Anger 80%, accepted

I have 8 unsolds over a week old

This is a price drop for Winter Wonderland Wrap, 78%, accepted

I have 13 unsolds over 5 days old

2 Days Maybe Considered Young To You, But It's Considered Old Enough To Mods.

Ok lets get to what is important.

                1. There are 15 pages on outpost with non painted graybanns anything past page 9 is poorly bumped. Each page has 20 trades on it. 180 total. I think there could be more proof, solds, unsolds.

                2. There is almost no proof to support upper range of price

                3. I have 2 trades as counter proof to show that it still sells at 1 Key for 1 key pure, in a few hours. so the 0.9 (8 ref)- 1 key range is fine

                4. Painted items should not be used as proof and the suggested price should not be influenced by these, but can be used as support proof to further prove a point and should be set aside.

                  1. You Got It Wrong, If There Are 15 Pages, Most Commonly 5 - 7 Will Be Unbumped, Even Poorly Bumped Links Are Still Usable. Checked His Previous Suggestions ?

                  2. There Are People Selling This At 8.33 Ref, Unless You're Talking About Something Esle.

                  3. If You Want To CounterProof, You Need More Of 1 Keys Sold Than His Selling, Since 1 Keys Is Not Gonna Be The Common Trading Point Anymore.

                  4. You're Right About That.

"Having sold 2 unusuals I know for a fact that you will not be able to sell your unusual within a week"

maybe your prices were too high :/ or maybe the unusuals were undesirable. and your example isn't really all that relevant

In context it is relevant to prove my point and try to teach you guys how to make good trades even though I myself is not extremely experienced.

Unusual Pyro's Beanie Circling Tf logo level 42 Worth 1.2 buds

                http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/22362765 1 month

The whole time i was selling this for 2 keys less than backpack price.

Sold 1 Bud + 1 Key when buds were 17 keys.

" try to teach you guys how to make good trades " not sure I want you to teach me anything...

on a more serious note, I think how we judge unusual unsolds and regular unsolds is different...

If you had read the conversation you would have read this

and if you read the whole conversation my comment would make more sense.

-summary of all points: of course we judge them differently we look at solds for unusuals no need for unsolds

I'd hate to break it to ya, but I go to school, and I bump my trades a shit ton during school.

It just goes to show that even with paint people aren't intrested. 2 solds against 2 day unsolds. I'm letting Jesus take the wheel.

Like I said before, It always takes longer to sell a painted item because first you need to find someone who wants the item, and second you need to find someone who wants it painted in that specific color. It isn't a matter of interest it is a mater of the ability to sell the base model of the item and whether or not the price matches this ability. As you can see above I clearly have shown that people are interested in this item UNPAINTED and are willing to pay top backpack.tf prices for this item.
