Exception 2: Rare Hats
Any hat can be priced based on a single sale if ALL these criteria are met:
- There are no other recent sales in the last 3 months
- The effect is not a summer 2013 effect. (robo, 2013 halloween effects can be used as they are often rarely traded and rarely unboxed)
- The hat went to a collector or person who intends to keep the hat. A collector can be identified by looking at the person's trade history, item history of similar unusuals in the backpack OR if the owner has not resold the hat 1 month after the sale occurred.

Oh yeah I forgot about that, luckily it doesn't matter.
1 currently on the market which means you should wait until it sells (only 1 month old)

he's not a collector though as it's up for trade (what you are referring to is if it's not on the market currently and hasn't sold within 1 month.
first bullet point however is still in effect as it is on the market and last sale was 1 month ago which means there is still 2 months for another sale to happen

Looks like it's back on the market, so I'm pretty sure we'll need to wait for another sale. The rule you bolded refers to if the hat is not put back onto the market. IE, if he had bought this and kept it off the market for a full month, THEN relisted you'd be safe. However, the former is the case here, not the latter.
