Exception 2: Rare Hats

Any hat can be priced based on a single sale if ALL these criteria are met:

- There are no other recent sales in the last 3 months

- The effect is not a summer 2013 effect. (robo, 2013 halloween effects can be used as they are often rarely traded and rarely unboxed)

- The hat went to a collector or person who intends to keep the hat. A collector can be identified by looking at the person's trade history, item history of similar unusuals in the backpack OR if the owner has not resold the hat 1 month after the sale occurred.

"- There are no other recent sales in the last 3 months" the hat was unboxed yesterday, you bought it today, it does not meet this criteria. Downvote again. You are also not a collector, you also just got the hat so you couldn't use the 3rd criteria.

EDIT: Stop worrying about your backpack value and come back in 29 days.

If he already gave his word (As the owner) that he will not be selling for 1 month, it satisfies the "if the owner has not resold the hat 1 month after the sale occurred criteria"

So, say this does pass and the day after it passes he puts it back up for sale, what would happen then? This guy is clearly not the kind of guy to keep a hat for too long. This is made clear by his outpost.

Did you even read at all what I said? The hat was unboxed YESTERDAY it is impossible for there to be another sale in 1 month, so you do not meet that criteria, nor do you meet the 3rd one.

what if i decide not to sell it? you have absolutely no control over what i would like to do with this hat. if i wasn't keeping it, this suggestion would have never been made. past sales in 3 months? the 1 bud sale.

I know I have no control over your hat, but that is EXACTLY why you do not meet the 3rd criteria, if this did pass you could just put it up for sale, people lie. Also I hope you are trolling about that last sentence, how can there be another sale in 3 months if the hat was just unboxed yesterday, use common sense.

EDIT: Well apparently a hat that was unboxed yesterday is ok to suggest a flat price under the 1st criteria which doesn't make sense to me. And apparently it's ok that he's only had the hat for hours and your word alone is enough to fit the 3rd criteria.

"The hat went to a collector or person who intends to keep the hat", the trade history is only applied to identify a collector, so it doesn't matter if he is or not a collector if he intends to keep the hat anyway. As long as the criteria says "Intends", his word alone is enough for that.

So I can go buy a shitty one of one robo hat for like 12 keys come back, and suggest it for 12 keys and say that I am going to keep it and when and if it does pass, I can put it right back up for sale? I mean I am not saying that he will not keep it for a month, but who's to say after this suggestion passes he puts it up for sale again? Not meeting the third criteria.

Apparently yes, since the criteria didn't mention any bannable offences for that, then it was made with the risk that the owner would not intend to keep his hat.
