But they'd have to make the festivizer be shaped differently for every different engie hat... When has valve ever done that before? Of course, valve could just do what they did with the brainiac and let it clip with literally everything

They didn't change anything when the stash and rack became a misc to fit with the helmets.

that's because they were already shaped to fit around helmets which most of solly's hats are, engie has a bunch of cow boy hats and weird shaped things like the hetmans. stuff just wont fit well IMO
