Any hat can be priced based on a single sale if ALL these criteria are met:

- There are no other recent sales in the last 3 months

- The effect is not a summer 2013 effect. (robo effects can be used as they are often rarely traded and rarely unboxed)

- The hat went to a collector or person who intends to keep the hat. A collector can be identified by looking at the person's trade history, item history of similar unusuals in the backpack OR if the owner has not resold the hat 1 month after the sale occurred.

Other suggestions were accepted because they met all of 3 criteria (as most of the items went to the hand of collectors, not reseller). Your suggestion, however, failed to meet the thrid one "the owner has not resold the hat 1 month after the sale occurred.". It's on the market now, making another sale have chance to occur. This is just too soon to price this. Wait for 1 month and if he doesn't sell it, you can set a price.

As indicated in the other suggestion, it wasn't sold for 3 buds. It was sold for a pro SF RL. Which is probably under 2.5 in value.
