Edit: Also, your first sale was 2 months ago. That's pretty old for being half of your proof.
"http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23252224 2.5, 7 hours young" 4 day old trade, last bumped 7 hours ago.
"http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23150901 2.5" 2.44 round down to 2.4.
"http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/22757038 2.5" Average price = (2.2+2.5)/2 = 2.35, not 2.5.
Classifieds right this moment: http://i.imgur.com/XMosp2U.png 1x 2.33 3x 2.44, all of which round to below 2.5 keys.
2 months old is okay, took 2.2 out of the range since most of the sellers at 2.2-2.3 are pretty young and I'd say it's a little quicksellish due to the offers that most have received, also about your counter-proof at 2.5, It's still in range so I don't see a problem with that. thanks for countering tho.
Age of my links in order: 3 hours (young); 1 week old; 6 days old; 1 day old; 4 weeks old; 1 week old. One or two of them are young, sure, but the majority are pretty old. 2 months old is fine if the item is rare, but sales for this item seem to occur more often than 2-3 every couple of months. Your first sale, tracking it's history, it looks like a guy more recently (within 4 weeks ago) sold it for (apparently) 2 keys 3 ref (http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/22455962 he asks for 2 keys 3 ref down below where a guy offered 2 keys).
Also, "apparently 3 csgo keys, which is like 3.5 in tf2 keys." I very much understand this sentiment, as 1:1 TF2:CSGO keys almost never happens, but I don't think that flies here.
but what's the problem?, 2.5 is still in range and even tho that sale for csgo keys is not 100% accurate, I still have proof that supports my range. A sale from 2 months ago is okay since the the market for non-killstreaks for this is VERY small. I'd like to hear another point of view about this
Since you want someone else's PoV, I'm gonna step out after posting this final comment. The problem is that there are sellers below your suggested range. If you successfully raise it to 2.5-3.5 keys, someone can post 5 of my links (take away the 'average price' since it would raise to 3 keys) as proof that there are sellers below market price and lower it. You showed that sales have happened above market price, which is what is needed to raise a price. But if there are sufficient sellers at or below current market price, then a raise isn't necessary. Good luck, tell me how it turns out.
That's a pretty big range you've got there, and I'm not sure about the low end in the first place...
1 key range, how's that big for an item like this?
Come back when you have real counter-proof please
1 key isn't a big range if it's a pricier item, but on something small like a 3 key item, it matters. Especially considering that only the top end is changing.
EDIT: Started looking through the links more thoroughly and I'm beginning to think you might be right. Sorry about that.
