Suggestion: Mann Co. Supply Crate Key at 9–9.33 ref

It was 7-8refs for a while only because of the bread box update which purged a lot of metal from the community which slowed down the rising. Metal is pretty useless...Crafting = loss and you cant use it to buy other games nor can you use it as currency for other economies.

It is something some will look forward to; I get it, alot of people believe that this is a good thing. I can't say that it should be that many. Not when keys are circulated to a fixed handful user pool between 6 and a dozen. So 4/6 of the users whom created their posts have a "DIRECT" connection with each other. Now keep in mind for the outposts that have been around for a month may have likely had changed notes by the corresponding users maybe in response to this suggestion, maybe to fill in the high end range of the suggestion, I don't know entirely, nor can I confirm anything as far as when the notes we're changed or why we're they changed and if they we're changed at all, but in outpost you CAN changes the notes of your posts; I mean it's not a social breakthrough. And to further reflect this report, 3 of the posters in the suggestion are all connected to Ɔαρтαιи Ǥσя∂σи, whom made their suggestion recently. This is what I consider a fixed pool of users that impactingly can alter the value(s) and ranges of anything they're looking to buy, and the intention blurs out what is led to believe. That KeyBot may has also been changed recently to buy keys at 9.33. I may be wrong in this sentence, But only logical that ranging to buy at the suggested range couldn't have been as entirely possible 1, 2, 5 months ago, and that depends on how frequently bumped the outposts are. Furthermore, it wouldn't compsensate these users to buy outside of a range made some time ago for a higher value, to imply that this suggested high end range for keys does not add up if they're willing to trade more for it unless they've become involved in a under-the-table mainpulation or have come together to manipulate a range themselves.

To Conclude:

To me, this appears as mere filler for the the suggestion in making 9.33 a reasonably acceptable high range; Like that filler I heard about that chain food restaurants used to use in the food they served long ago.(I don't want to go into further detail on that; you and I REALLY don't want to know what happened back then unless you've got strife; and that's not the point of the discussion)

To conclude on that fact, the chain food restaurants that we're using it, did stop using it, (unless I'm wrong about that too) and that leads me to believe is somewhat why meal prices have increased/inflated in the demand to make the food as natural and fresh as possible.(Which I still think is not true.) Carls Jr. used to sell the spicy chicken at 1 USD, and a couple of weeks ago it was advertised at the restaurant to go for 1.19 USD. This post may however end in vain once voters, key buyers, sellers and hoarders take a look, suggestions do have an impact on the tf community if not on some then most-of-all. I talked about it maybe briefly and vaguely in the last key currency suggestion of 9 ref on my first post, hidden by a mod whom I will not call out for any reason whatsoever.

This Key jumping, is of little to almost no benefit for the community. Yes, you don't have to buy/sell keys at the templated suggestion(s) we find in bp.tf or somewhere similar, but to find a key under such a template is gold nugget buried in a mount of sulphur.(fool's gold I believe) Me, what can I do with a key? I could care less, I'm okay with everyone else wanting them more than me. Key buying/selling is my problem if I so choose it to be, but it's not like I'll want them to end up in this much ref. Cause as I've been saying before, this voice of mine during this post is not about me, it's about everyone else that will become affected by the ongoing suggest/resuggestion(s). And I feel that only few will buy/sell keys at an outranged price only to be bought more frequently by the same users, and that's how active bp.tfers/outposters will pay the price. I only ask for some consideration of what I leave here, and I don't have time to argue about it, especially with the suggestor(s). So if anyone would like to volunteer as my debating representative, I would very much appreciate it.

DAYUM. people we need to stop buying keys at higher prices. 8.66 ref was fine. people, stop buying them for so much. if we wanna lower the price of them we need to stop buying them off the people selling them. how it works is: key gets raised>people sell for more than what its value is>key price goes up again>people sell for more than whats its worth again etc.

I don't get why this is so hard for people to understand. It's not that Keys are rising in price, it's that metal is falling in price. Keys are 1.8 through paypal, 2.40-3.50 on market. That has not changed. What HAS changed is that Metal prices are falling. So now you have metal, which is worth less, trying to buy keys, which have stayed the same price. Obviously the price has to go up.

absolutely not 9 ref.... maybe if you were refreshing the page here all of yesterday and the day before and then if you added the seller within 20 seconds of them posting the trade you might have a chance of getting a key at 9 ref or 9.11. but i was selling more keys at 9.33 than i was buying for 9 ref. so again, the price is absolutely not 9 ref anymore. since they insta sell and just about every bot is offering 9.11 minimum for buying keys

i did, and the point was that i SOLD MORE at 9.33 than i bought at 9 ref. i had to stop selling them cos i was getting over stocked with metal. so the majority isnt at 9 ref at all. im not sure if you have just listed all the posts on outpost or what people want for their keys, or if you are putting actual sales. cos they are 2 very different numbers

well its not the most common trading point, i know from actually selling the keys. also you seem to have completly missed out the 9,11 price which is also a very common buying price for bots. if theres 25 keys sold at 9 ref. 20 sold at 9.11 and 20 sold at 9.22 and 20 sold at 9.33. the most common trading price is 9 ref sure, but the average price is definitely above 9 ref my friend.

Like I said, I have done key suggestions many times before so I am more aware than other beginner and mediocre suggesters. ( Doesn't mean that I wouldn't or won't make any mistake, everyone make mistakes, anyways...) If it wasn't, I wouldn't have kept 9.00 on the range at all. As you can see from my proof, I have found many sales at 9.00 ref...I can't just leave that out of the range when many sellers are willing to sell at that price and have sold at that price. If the sales were scarce then I would exclude 9.00 from the range. Also, if you look at the other suggestion you would see many are suggesting to put 9 on the range. Nevertheless.... As always, I will update from time to time, no need to worry. Thanks for your output once again. ^=^

Keys were about 4 ref when I discovered item prices (about 2 weeks after becoming P2P). And look at them now. Not saying it's a bad thing, but I used to unbox fairly lot when they were 6 ref, it slowed down when they were crossing 7 ref, completely ended after 8 ref. But 9 ref...
