Sold for $160 USD.
I think I sold it for a bit more than it's worth, so I'll suggest 4 buds.
I'm unsure of how to post proof for this being a paypal transaction. Here is the outpost trade (proving I owned and then sold the item), although the buyer never posted an offer on it (he just friended me, all negotiation occurred over steam).
I don't know if this counts as proof, but it's the best I've got :)

It's the only proof I have. However, as this is a currently unpriced unusual, I thought i'd report what I sold it for. I could not find any other records for previous trades, as far as I can tell this is the first time this item has exchanged hands.
You'll need 2 sales for an unpriced hat. There are some on the market, so even if there haven't been sales you'll have to wait.
Plus a trade with a scammer is invalid.
You don't need 2 sales to price a hat anymore. A hat can be priced off of one link provided;
-It is sold to a collector or will not sell in the next month
-It is not a Halloween 2014 effect
-It has not had any other sales in the past 2-3 months

Beams is Gen 1 and sold to a collector. There were no other valid sales.
The first part is no longer relevant, but the second part is, your Escorter and this suggestion are not comparable :P
The exception for rare hats, yes. There are 3 more on the market as of right now. Two taking offers and one looking for 3 pure which has been unsold for 2 weeks. Not exactly rare nor does the suggested price match.
