I don't see any 4.00 ref seller on Outpost. You clearly cherry picked proof. I can go ahead and sell an item more than market price like this one for example, will I succeed. Eventually yes, but it will take me weeks or so.

Also, notice how some of those sellers were saying bp.tf price? These are when the price was 4.00 ref (Almost a month ago). You should use recent sales. Not old rotten ones for items like this.

Exactly, these things don't sell well at all. The suggester by now should be aware that old trades like that are not valid and recent sales should be used to raise prices.

"tf2OP is more reliable than classifieds" does not mean classifieds should be ignored.

Never has there ever been a suggestion where the classifieds have decided the outcome of the suggestion. That said, it definitely shouldn't be ignored, I agree.

If you just meant that tf2OP evidence should generally outweigh classifieds, then we're on the same page. Sorry if I misread you.

Maybe it's possible to get 4 ref today, but it's hard to picture a buyer who'd do that when the market is full of 2.55 - 3 ref sellers, and no one currently is even *asking* 4 ref (aside from the lone 5 ref optimist).

How does 4 ref even happen here?
