Last update was 4 months ago, whether its rising of keys or passing of time, this item's price has dropped.

Buyouts establish the maximum price it can sell for. non underlined stuff means its insignificant. I apologize if I have bad formatting in this, I am not used to unusual suggestions.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/22623198 buyout of 4 buds

offers consist of 56 keys (user hid his post),

'3 buds possibly collect more' the seller asked how much more and buyer retracted (got australium scatter instead)

australium wrench with parts (1.35 buds) + Pro festive ubersaw (7.5$ steam market) + Pro festive Crusaders crossbow (9$ steam market) + Steaming hotties hoodie (1.05 buds) total of about 2.8 buds~ maybe up to 3 depending on Killstreaker

Cloud 9 thirst blood (theres a 2.5 bud buyout one on outpost, declined offer)

P fetti thirst blood + TS essential accessories + 1 key (3-4 bud unusual + 3 keys)

Miami lights detective noire (3 buds) declined

H ghost spartan (2.4-2.8 obv declined)

1 month old lv 100 electro fruit shoot (1.6-3 buds) declined

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23229329 buyout of 5 buds (1 week old)

only has 1 offer, P fetti thirst blood + TS EA + 1 key

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23361096 buyout of 5 buds (2 days old)

same offer as the last

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/22704828 Buyout of 5 buds (1 month old)

1 real offer, 3 buds (4 days ago)

To summarize, best offer has been 56 keys (retracted), second best P fetti thirst blood + TS essential accessories + 1 key (3-4 bud unusual + 3 keys) and next best was 3 buds (one asked how much more the other didnt respond)

3.5-4 buds seems to be the proper range of this item.

Links are broken. [url] tags would help.

Thank you, I would go back and fix it but I left right after I posted it and a month ago the tags werent necessary, I hadn't realized it changed. I apologize for the inconvenience but I did list all the offers from each of the trades in the description immediately following the broken links.

You don't even have a sale here, plus links are broken, how do you have a green belt??

The fact that there arent any sales shows lack of popularity. Also it is hard to trace sales on outpost and I was short on time, I went into some of the history on the ones for sale and found one had sold for 4 buds in unusuals: [url]http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23074168[/url] a month ago url tags were not necessary, my green belt is primarily from a few years back (yes, 2012.) And during that time, a buyout of 4 buds would be enough evidence to cause the community to need a change away from 4.6-5.1, but as I said in the beginning, I apologize for formatting and I'm not entirely used to unusual suggestions. If you have a useful comment feel free to post it, but please refrain from bashing, especially considering you don't have any unusuals.

Man I was last scammed an electro noble, please just don't remind me of that, unfortunately for you, rules have changed so you need sales, the fact taht I don't own an unusual anymore doesn't mean I can't give my poinf of view here, that's it

I understand it is hard getting scammed, I have been scammed once and hacked thrice. I apologize for mentioning that, but after checking the rules, you don't need sales, just evidence. Lack of sales counts as evidence, and buyouts even more so when lowering a price.

It's not how it works for unusuals unfortunately, you DO need sales for lowering and raising a price, just close this, fix all your links and wait for some sales, it's a small advice, totally up to you if you feel like this is enough to get accepted

I only see offers, no recent sales.

Good point, but did you at least notice that no one has offered anywhere near the current range? or that there was a buyout .6-1.1 buds lower than the current range? Lastly do you at least realize that the point you make is supporting a drop in price that even with an existing buyout of 4 buds there still havent been any recent sales, because that's the essence of your comment as I see it.

Multiple people are saying that there haven't been any sales, but that is clearly the point of my suggestion. There aren't any sales to justify such a high price as it is now. I had to go and posted this suggestion right before I left. I am back now and see I should have checked what they paid for it since many are reselling.

[url]http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23074168[/url] buyout 5 buds, sold for 4 buds worth of unusuals (Miami nights detective noire + NNB el jefe).

[url]http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/22491771[/url] buyout of 4 buds but there is no record of what it sold for.

The buyout of 4 buds should show enough of a need for a drop to a high end of 4 buds (at most), and the additional buying of it with 4 buds worth of unusuals (I think the multiplier is .9) so 3.6 buds shows that it definitely needs a drop.

The fact that the seller was interested in the 3 possibly a little more in the first link shows that hes willing to take somewhere less than 4.

PS: last time I made a suggestion (1 month ago) the url tags were not necessary.

b/o's should not be used as proof for high ends

I think you mis-interpreted, its not proof for a high end in many cases. However, buyouts are proof for a highest end. The current price is much more than the high end I am suggesting. When suggesting a drop you don't have to prove the high end much, for example, current price is 3 ref, sellers have no offers past 2 ref but the sellers price is 2.33, 3 ref is absurdly high but you need to have room for the chance that they will go only .66 lower than the current price and put a high end of 2.33, in my case, I see that it is possible for it to go as high as 4, but by no means will anyone ever offer more than 4 when the buyout is 4.

You say I need sales but the buyout of 4 buds in the comment you replied to now is posted with a buyout of 4 buds, so it probably was bought for less than 4 buds. This link, however, [url]http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23074168[/url] shows a definite sale of 4 in unusuals. If you think 3.5-4 is a bad range, tell me, what range do you think it should be?

        you need sales

Our rules are quite clear about pricing without sales: http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/6033-new-unusual-price-suggestion-guide-the-cheat-sheet.

"B/Os alone cannot be used to make an unusual suggestion. Just like we don't like to use offers as the only proof to raise the value on an item, we don't like using B/Os alone to drop the value as this has frequently caused bp.tf to lead the market with consecutive suggestions every 1-2 weeks dropping the hat (see Miami Wraith). There are rarely situations where we feel B/Os can be used as the only proof in a suggestion. We will accept such suggestions ONLY if there are literally no usable sales in the last 2 months."

This is not the case here ---

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23229329 - bought for a GBH gilded guard

          http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/22491771 - cash?

          http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/22225391 - sold for 4.2 pure (72 keys)

          http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23074168 - sale at 3.7

Sales at 3.7 and a pure sale at 4.2. This will need a range based on sales
