I can't really fault the sales but considering the event isn't over yet I'd say it's probably best to wait at least another couple weeks before any of us try to price these 2014 Halloween effects. Hype is still going and another one of these could be unboxed within the next week.

Not a bad idea. But on the vast majority of hats, it doesn't look like we'll get more than 2 the same hat with the same effect. As long as there are at least 2 sales close together, value will probably not change much even if one more is unboxed. Was very different with summer effects or on thirst bloods or taunts where within a week you might have seen 6 of the same hat-effect combo.

Effects and prices of Dappers on backpack.tf currently:

Yeah. I think it's a bit high, based on the effects above.

From my personal opinion and experience, I don't think the Bonzo is as high as effects like Sunbeams or Harvest Moon. I definitely think that hype played a factor in the trades in your proof, and that the actual price is lower.

But then again, proofs are proofs. Your proofs seemed soild and they DID sell for what they sold for, which is why I'm staying neutual.

The price is really reliant on the hype. Take last years 2013 Halloween effects for example, when they were priced they were as high as Burning. Hype will eventually die, but right now I'm just pricing it now to get an accurate representation of the market on this hat.

Price is most often directly proportional to the number in existence and the number on the market. Beams and burning dappers are very common. PE has a lot of value because it is 1 of 1 on the market. I suspect if you did a suggestion on the GE dappers, it would get a decent drop because there are 4 of them (as many as beams) and the price is outdated.
