This is one of those *dead* items that no one buys. The limited market means that even a single purchase determines the price that an item is bought at. In this case, i was the purchaser.
I bought this key from
http://backpack.tf/u/76561198009458322
for 3 keys pure.
here is the image

(I bought a 2012 and normal nice key at 3 keys each)

(The item traded)

(Out chat conversation)
There is currently one other seller at 3 keys.
Collectors keys are hard to price, because they can not be found on all websites. I know outpost is the bible for finding price suggesting, but this item is not on outpost.
Also the price is from 2 years ago, and needs an update
Could you provide a screenshot of your trade history?
yes, i have edited the post to show a link to an image
Uhh... the screenshot shows only normal keys.
I see the Nice Key in your backpack but the screenshot refutes the sale.
You are aware that these are "collectors" keys, and were turned into "normal keys" after their run was over. Festive Winter keys are the same thing
well, now I am...
then show a historical of your backpack; a before and after.
History will have no effect, because i bought the keys to pay for the winter key, on the market today, and also bought the key today. BP.TF does not save more then one screen shot of you backpack a day. The next time i have to do something like this, i will keep this in mind.
Why not take a screenie of your backpack yesterday and one of today, hear me out.
The one from yesterday will prove that it wasn't in your backpack and the one today shows that you now have the Nice Key.
Using these two screenshots in tandem with the previous screenshot, you specify that you bought the keys (to buy the Nice Key) and then bought the Nice Key.
http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198009458322?time=1415310352 - seller's bp afterwards, first three keys i think?
We traded a total of 6 keys for 2 different collector keys at 3 keys each
What was the other key? You could probably suggest for that too, all the other collectors keys haven't really been updated in a while iirc
I will be doing that actually, but this is my first test run of a suggestion, so that i can fine-tune my suggestion strategy.
Okay, just so you know, putting up the histories of the backpacks of you and skulleyes is recommended.
I did not buy this item for 3 keys just to make a suggestion on the price. I bought the item today because i wanted it. The price suggestion came second.
I understand that but for the sake of this suggestion, I feel like those screencaps would help.
Whatever man, I'm trying to help these suggestion but it doesn't look like it's going anywhere.
Noted, sorry if anything i say comes off wrong.
It's alright man, it just sucks because you've probably got the only sale that happened in some time.
perhaps close and resuggest?
dis rogue downvoter though
Showing a trade screenshot from your trade history in Steam isn't going to really help, since it shows up as a normal key. Likely, backpack.tf historical data (before and after-trade backpack screenshots or links) will need to be used to show the trade.
Imma say "no", unless other proof that these run for this price. Call me when new proof is added.
But the market for this item is non-existent; that's why he's only basing it off one sale.
Stats.tf is the only site that records that these keys even exist. The proof is i am one of the few that have bought this key off another.
