Raising up my backpack : )
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23574730#latest - 3 ref - http://i.imgur.com/dsBWTWs.png
- http://i.imgur.com/vxCigDE.png
Sold:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23244750 - 1.33 ref
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23471246 - 1 ref
Now I don't fucking know when SCM became the be all and end all for the entirety of counter proof but even with these 'new' rules, you still need to give price suggestions time, not just close them immediately.
Current cheapest on SCM is 57c (Close enough to 3 ref which would be 63c?) - http://i.imgur.com/I7cQXX6.png - http://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/440/Haunted%20Handhunter
This is like the 3rd suggestion I've had to just resubmit because of shoddy admining. Get your shit together please.
Counter proof is welcome but don't bother commenting to say you downvote unless you have counter proof.
EDIT: Extra proof: - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23405105#my - Sold for 1.33.
You need more than one sale on 3 ref.
And your proof is inconsistent. The only sale you have for 3 ref is your own, plus the only link you have at 3 ref is yours.
Oh, and if the admin shuts down your suggestion, why are you doing it again?
I have two sales at 3 ref if you use your eyes.
What do you mean by inconsistent?
You have sales at 1 ref and sales at 3 ref, but no range.
there are two sales at 3ref...
Yeah I realised that after I posted it. :P
Oh, right, sorry, I'm calling 1 and 1.33 ref quicksales. 1-3 ref would be too large and inaccurate a range even if they weren't.
Happy to help.
not sure where you're getting this close immediately thing, http://backpack.tf/vote/id/545dc3daba8d88c7528b4705 was open for 10 hours
if we just ignore the SCM this might have happened http://backpack.tf/vote/id/5421a22cb98d889d6b8b45c9
I'd downvote based on the last suggestion getting closed by the admins and this having no more proof than the last
(3ref is 66 cents technically)
10 hours is not long especially when I'm not online to crush counterproof. http://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/440/Haunted%20Handhunter - Cheapest is now 62c. Which makes the price ~2.8 ref. That's close enough to 3 ref and I'm not making a range based solely on SCM proof.
Downvote ;3
Judging from your accuracy and your 12.41 key backpack tom, I'm not worried.
http://i.imgur.com/fhTSLEr.png
I wasn't being serious...
And 80% accuracy doesn't look bad to me.
64.1% does.
That included last month, which was probably my first month voting on prices. This month is 80.25%, 238 votes...
And yet you're still spamming my suggestion. I don't care. But downvote this and your accuracy drops 8)
should provide a reason
People are idiots. There'll always be kids like him taking up space on the site.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23586298 - 'bp price'
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23405105 - 1 week, no offers
http://backpack.tf/classifieds/?item=Handhunter&quality=13&tradable=1&craftable=1 - 1.33 + 2 ref
your own proof shows 1 sold at 1.33 and 1 unsold at 1 ref
.57c ~ 2.22 ref
so yeah downvote
Link 1: Hasn't accepted my friend request.
Link 2: A lot of people don't bother offering when they can just buy one for a legitimate price. I know I don't like having to offer on idiots trades for items like this.
Classifieds: I have trade offered the 1.33 guy. He is yet to accept. As for the other guy, well, it's sold.
My own proof shows a sold for 1.33 and a SOLD for 1 ref. Look in his backpack.
Thanks for the attempt at counter proof, pitiful as it was.
ok so we have 4 valid sales at and below current bp range but your only proof is your own trade. yeah, no. sorry
Quicksales boy.
you did your steam market price to refined conversion wrong... 1ref = 22 cents currently
1 key is 2.44 currently, 2.44/10ref = 24 cents each. .57/24 = 2.375 so 2.33-2.44 ref
You're wrong. It doesn't work like that. http://backpack.tf/stats/Unique/Refined%20Metal/Tradable/Craftable
comparing pure SCM prices to each other + counter proof to show your price is wrong
we don't base key value on what they're going for in the steam market... and we don't base refined value on key value....
also if we want to get more technical, keys are 9.77ref+1wep not 10ref
comparing pure SCM prices to each other + counter proof to show his price is wrong
3 of the same comment constitutes spam sir
also 57 cents is fairly close to the 66 cent (3ref) mark
was browser error sry
Same thing happened to me earlier. All good.
As stated, no extra proof compared to the last. What makes you think this'll go through? Also, 1.33 took a while, IDs tell all.
Because I changed the SCM proof.
Polar's closing comment: "SCM suggests 3 ref is the outlier as well."
Now that the SCM lowest price is ~2.8 ref, it fits in with my new price.
The market can change in the space of days. Perhaps 2 days ago, no-one wanted this but I managed to sell 2 in 2 days so it's clearly a bit more wanted now.
I don't need extra proof when there is no counter proof.
"Now that the SCM lowest price is ~2.8 ref, it fits in with my new price."
Set it as 2.88 then...
No. I'm not basing a price off SCM as I still don't see it as valid proof.
Just to clarify, SCM wallet money =/= IRL money. Can't use paypal values of refined and keys to do conversions on SCM.
So, the buyer pays: 0.57 / 2.44 = 0.23 keys = 2.37 refined
The seller gets 2.37 ref * 0.85 = 2 refined after tax.
The SCM value would give a range of 2-2.37 refined. Which is exactly in between the sale values at 1-1.33 and the sale at 3 ref. And also in between the current price and your suggested price.
But If I buy something I'm paying more. It shouldn't go on what the seller gets... Well it should actually but it also has to go on what the buyer pays.
If I'm purchasing an item in a shop for $10 and there's a tax of $1 then am I paying $9 or $10? Is its price $9 or $10?
That's why the rules around SCM pricing are a joke and I still consider it invalid proof.
You can't price purely on what the seller gets when the buyer has to pay more. You can't just not count 15% of what the buyer pays and pretend it doesn't exist.
I think it should account for both. Hence the range. But let's say you only go with what the buyer is paying, then it would still be 2.33 ref.
So correct me if I'm wrong;
0.62/2.44 = 0.25 keys = 2.55 ref (Buyer pays)
That's closer to my current price of 3 refined than the old price and I'm not making a range based purely on SCM proof.
I'm going by sales (ignoring the .34 outlier), not sellers.
But if the cheapest is 0.62 then you can't buy it any cheaper?
We try to reflect what items do trade for and not what they don't trade for.
If there's none cheaper on the market and I have provided two sales at 3 ref I'm not really sure what more you want from me.
