Only one sale isn't good enough. And how is 4.4 buds an outlier? Here's one that I made, and look at it however you wish, but I believe I paid at least 4.5 buds for this hat (My b/o was 4 buds and I added 8 keys of sweets) http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23245867. If you look around and try harder you'll probably find more solds at around 4.5 buds. Edit: Please correct me if I'm wrong if you do find more proof against me. But from what I've seen, I'm pretty sure 3 buds is much too low.

Because he can't sell it for 3 buds in 3 weeks, your sale must be outlier. There is no reason to include 4.5 buds in the range if 3-bud one can't even be sold.
It's hard to say 3 buds is low in this case. I even feel this is still high.
My sale is an outlier? Ok then. Give me later tonight and I'll make a counter suggestion. If I'm find out that I'm wrong, and it should be down to 3 buds, I'll try and make a better range for it based off of multiple sales, instead of just one.

My big disagreement is that you only have one sale to make a price. (Edit: and you completely ignore the price of the sale itself) You completely ignore my sale and refuse to look for more. I agree the price needs to be lowered, but I'm pretty sure a jump from 5.2 buds to 3 buds is extreme, even though there's the guy who hasn't sold.
I have found every sales before making this suggestion. Want to see the sale I don't use here?

Pretty much those every sales happen in 2 months. The reason I don't use them here is those hats involved are outdated and posting them here is just a waste of space and time. I always try to exclude anything redundant out of my suggestion. Also, I have priced many hats with only 1 sale before and in this one, I don't even use sales to set a price so they don't matter much.
And a jump from 5.2 to 3 is not something you don't see everyday for a 3rd gen.
Even though they're outdated, it helps to put them up to prove your range is correct/incorrect. Also, double check to make sure the prices weren't outdated during the trade itself. I may be wrong still, but you should have included these things to begin with to help prove your price. Also, that Bubbling TC was the his side of the trade I showed earlier. xP Anyways, I'll let the rest of the community decide, and I'll see if I can make a more accurate price suggestion later.

We have discussed that with the unsold at 3-bud, everything above it must be outlier, that's it. No opinion involved.

I do believe he didn't give you any discounts at all, given his BO was a Max (3.3 buds) so you overpaid a lot for it :P
he had b/o of max because that was his dream , but ye i know that need to update but 3 buds flat is realy to low..
With unsolds at 3 buds pure, I'm sure 3-bud is still too high :/
