There should always be enough evidence to back up the new proposed value.
However, it appears that the evidence is not strong enough, or cherry-picked
in a way that does not represent the actual market value of the item.

Yet another Halloween has come and past and with it a jumble of new hats to be priced!
This is a 1-1 hat in the world, been traded two times and its now ready to be priced.
Fresh unbox sold at 4 buds pure and a Terror-Watt Sergeant's Drill Hat, coming to a price of 6 buds mixed.
"Second sale was, alas to myself for my beloved Green Energy Defiant Spartan." -- You should change this to be more clear, because it's worded in a way that makes it sound like you sold it to yourself. :\
I think you can't suggest a price based on unusual trades, because the majority traders considers unusual overpaying in unusuals... (sorry for my english)
GE Spartan is only 4–4.3 buds? and the first sale is around 5.5.
So where does 5.7 come from?
Looking to outpost for values not just bp.tf
You are suggesting in bp.tf. Use bp.tf prices, not outpost.
I could sell my Spartan for 8 buds, does that meam I can count it as 8 buds here?
You use outpost values instead of the backpack.tf value in order to price something on backpack.tf itself? Wut
B/os dont mean anything, they can try selling for 5000 buds doesnt mean that its the "outpost value"
Outpost values are what help shape bp.tf values, buy examining current and previous sales on the hat, an average can be determined
But your outpost values are just buyouts, doesnt mean anyone is gonna pay them.
Unusuals prices are based on sales, that people have paid. Not ones that are currently on outpost and no one wants to pay. If you look at some trades for the GE Spartan that have sold, you can see that.
I looked at backpack histories? And if you looked at his outpost trades, you can see he has a Secret to Everybody Magistrate Mullet, right after he closed the Napolean

This was my first suggestion, please comment appropriate fixes as needed, have a splendid day.
Did you apply overpay? Plus you can't value a hat based on what someone is selling for, try unusual spreadsheet instead? http://backpack.tf/unusuals/Defiant%20Spartan
no proof of range?

Do you even know what you meant by outpost values? Do B/Os of traders shape the value of bp.tf? In that case, every unusual will be 80 buds by now.
Read the rules, then suggest.
Your first sale is wrong btw, http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23542188 he sold it for a Secret to Everybody Magistrate Mullet 3.8–4.4 buds (outdated)
And guy you traded was selling the Napolean at 4.5 buds only http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23591666
You got ripped off
wait how did you find that
