Going through and collecting Heer's Helmet. There've only been 2 trades so far, and I plan on keeping a hold of this along with any other Heer's I can get a hold of.
Sold for 15 buds pure, along with the only Haunted Ghosts Heer's in existence for 6 buds.
Total: 21 buds.

Based on his profile Id say he looked at the average price of the hat and asked for 5. it wasn't quicksell because who the fuck sells shit that isn't gifted under 50%
Pretty good point. Though, the main reason I didn't put it in is because of the 10 bud difference. That's a pretty vast price range, and for most unusuals isn't acceptable as it is too broad and leads to some confusion.
I think the original owner didn't really know what he had unboxed and just wanted to get some quick profit. Would've been nice to get it at 5 buds and leave it, but the second owner wouldn't go below 15.

There only two trades to date, and there won't be any for quite a while. I plan on keeping it indefinitely.
The first sale was negligible to the amount in the second trade, so I see it as more of an outlier value rather than something it should be based on. It's a bit tricky to work with, I know. I spent quite a while debating whether or not to include it.
since it wont be traded for later, I dont think pricing it at all serves any purpose
you made it clear that there is a possibility no future sales will occur, there shouldn't be a price for a hat that isn't for sale
paying alot for something doesn't mean that it is necessarily worth that much
Backpack.tf is a place that records sale values, they don't set prices for them. I'm not suggesting this as a sale price, I'm suggesting this as a recording.
Unusuals of rare quality such as 1:1, or discontinued are pretty much a buyers market. They are worth what people are willing to pay for them as there usually isn't much to go off of for them. They're already hard to value as the only thing you can use are those trades.
I debated that, and even talked with the first owner. He shared what he had originally traded it for, (around 5 buds in mixed items) though 5-15 is also a pretty broad range. and usually wouldn't be accepted for anything.
While you're at it, you might want to do a suggestion with what you bought the sunbeams one for. :x
I'm planning on doing that, but I would have to make a suggestion for the Demonflame Familiar Fez first, as that was one of the items used in the trade.
