71 keys pure sale sold in hours
It sold in almost a day not hours and it doesn't seem like there are any other offers that can call that sale an outlier/quicksale. So i have included it in the range.
It was sold pure and within 24 hours. Seems like a quicksale to me.
If it's below the high end, even though it sold in hours or a day, it's definitely a quicksale and shouldn't be taken into consideration
From the rules.
What is a quicksell?
Time is only one factor used to determine a quicksell. If a hat sells within 1-2 days for its b/o in pure, one should be suspicious. However, since time to sell varies greatly among the type of hats (old vs new effects, misc vs hats, high tier vs low tier), this is not a reliable way to identify a quicksell.
More important is how a sale relates to other sales. If a hat sells for less than commonly offered values in pure or unusuals or for less than common trade points, that is likely a quicksell.
My opinion is based on the second method. The best pure offer in both trades is 4 buds pure and the best offer in unusuals is probably the Rock Paper Scissors Showstopper. It is valued at 6 buds on backpack.tf however there are quite a number of current sellers selling at 5 buds

With overpay applied on that , that would be 4.5 buds if we take the 5 buds b/o.
None of which has proven to be more than 4.6 buds so 4.6 buds isn't exactly less than commonly offered value.

Been offered in less than a day
Showstopper rock, paper, scissors ~ 6ish
Spellbound baron ~ this is unpriced, considering that hellfire and darkblaze are above 4.8, this is surely above it too.
I say 4.6 is an outlier, even more if it sold in less than a day, but eh up to you honestly
Regarding the showstopper rock, paper, scissors, i have provided sellers at 5 buds currently and so it is definitely not 6 ish.
Spellbound baron offer is tentative. Hence, invalid.
Okay. So, on the 90 key sale, he was offered said taunt plus an aussie minigun.
He was also non-tentatively offered the Spellbound Baron + sweets.
THAT'S way above your low-end, and should help you prove it's an outlier / quicksale / whatever.
But he ultimately took the 90 keys offer instead of this. If this is really valued a lot more than 90 keys, he would've taken it in a heartbeat. If we were to value that offer, then shouldn't 90 keys be an outlier too?
And also, that offer doesn't exactly fall under "Commonly" offered. It is an offer more like an outlier.
Looking at the current open spellbound baron price suggestion http://backpack.tf/vote/id/5462a390b88d88875b8b4971 (5.25 buds * 0.9 = ~4.7 buds) + Sweets(Unknown amount) . I don't see how that is "Way" above 4.6. The average price of my range is probably going to be more than that offer anyway.
People are crazy for pure, you know that. Only reason he didn't touch that RPS offer is because it was a taunt.
Regardless, 'commonly' offered is a meaningless sentiment. He was 'commonly' offered a bunch of crap, but I don't see you pricing this at 2-3 buds based on that.
Well, "commonly" offered does have a role in this. If he is constantly being offered more than 4.6 buds then 4.6 buds is a definite outlier here but as you have mentioned, he is constantly getting offers at 2-3 buds which fails to show that 4.6 buds is a quicksale price. Within 2 weeks, based on 2/10+ offers (One of which is probably slightly higher than 4.6 but lower than the average of this range and another one that is supposingly massively higher ), i still feel that it is weak/insufficient to dismiss 4.6 buds as an outlier.
I will wait for a response from a mod before i resuggest.
Current owner is a collector. No way we'll ever know if the first sale was an "outlier." Going to accept this since we have two pure sales that aren't that far apart.
