2 year old price. THis is the only recent sale.
Sold for 4 buds pure (took more than a month):

http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561197990792660?time=1412838000 - the buds
How is it a quicksale when it took him 1 whole month to sell something at supposingly 50% the old price? He had that price ever since he opened the trade. It doesn't matter what the others are considering their prices at, the fact is that there isn't any offers to even show an evaluation of 6 buds for this.
I can refuse to take anything under 10 buds for my blizzardy coupe, does than mean that the price shouldn't be below 10 buds for it?
If you really didn't care about how backpack.tf priced the hat you wouldn't come crying here.
Define the word "Quick-sell", please.

Harvest is almost 3 times rarer & priced 3.5 despite that suggestion not passing, just saying. You thought you made a good deal by buying that Coupe for 4 buds when in reality he had been trying to sell it for months - if it really was a quicksale someone else would've snagged it within hours, not after 2 months.
I don't think 2 months is anywhere close to a quicksale.
"Are you aware of how pricing even works on high-tier unusuals? "
- If you want to see my résumé, I'm fine with that: http://backpack.tf/u/76561198001300729 .
250 unusual suggestions compare to your 0. Are YOU aware of how pricing even works on high-tier unusuals?
" Price was asked for a Quicksale, which I paid in pure"
- Had a B/O of 4 buds for more than a month. I wonder how you could even call that a quicksale with a straight face.
"Just because backpack.tf would price these hats at 4 buds due to a single vote does NOT mean that the traders holding these hats will abide"
- Then don't abide, no one is forcing you to.
"The difference is that NOBODY is accepting anything lower than the price of 6 currently"
- When you ACTUALLY get offers at 6 buds and above, then comment here.
"When ALL the stockholders are in agreements for the price, THEY set the value."
- When buyers aren't paying your price, they don't set the value in bp.tf.
"This isn't a Blizzard Coupe that we're talking about here. It's arguably the highest priced effect for this particular hat. It's not like there are 30 people trying to sell it undercutting each other."
- Fine, let me change it for you. I can refuse to take anything below 100 buds for my 1 of 1 spellbound liquidator's lid, does that mean that the price shouldn't be below 100 buds?
No, you're right. Sorry. I am pretty tired. You definitely have more experience in these matters than I do. I guess I'm still just confused as to how a single sale can arbitrarily drop the price like that.
Sorry if I came off as confrontational or offensive. =(
Is there any chance I could perhaps get a crash course in how these matters work? I mean, I'm still pretty confused how a single sale can drastically drop the price of an unusual, especially when the others are in the hands of collectors who aren't selling for low prices.
Yes, there is: http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/6033-new-unusual-price-suggestion-guide-the-cheat-sheet/
Thank you. Appreciate the help.
It's fine, no harm done. Most people dont take their time and argument or even try to understand and just rant and complain.^^
I'm still new to the whole process. Doing my best to learn the ins and outs of it all.
