I feel that in a way the raise and lower of keys would benefit and destroy the market. I say destroy in a way that means getting keys are going to be more difficult without spending money. If keys raise to a price that I feel would be too high unusual trading would be more unfair, due to people spending money to buy keys, then swapping the keys to by buds (which would be lower in value). unlike keys buds are a finite source which means that their cannot be more than what is currently in the game. when buds lower to a price that makes buying keys from the market using real money a viable option, all unusual prices will have to increase. the problem with that is that buds are finite and keys are not. the only way I feel that could save unusual from raising price dramatically is by increasing the drop rate of unusual (which the trading community most likely wont accept). the positives from this price change are that hats would lower in price overall, we are currently experiencing this to an extent (1.22-1.33). this eliminates the stereotype of a "f2p" with the expense of the hats values. refined metal is currently too abundant due to most tf2 players knowing that crafting is a bad idea, this means more people are "hoarding refined" and to counter that the keys price has gone up. The fix we should be looking at is a way we can get more people to use their refined metal and prompt a lower in the price of keys. this means people should stop creating suggestions stating "TF2 market is crashing help me fix"

you are messing up the economy it wont be 2 long before an item will cost 1000+ buds and no one want that....

Some proves are wrong but look at the classified listings. 1x 10.77 ref, a few 10.88 ref and the rest 11 ref.

I have everything what I want in TF2 + some raw keys. Why would they ever go down?

I think that keys should be from 8.75-9.75. I know that's a bit low, but I think that should be the final price.

The only way they will stop going up is by people stop buying keys and we all know thatll never happen maybe when TF3 if it even ever comes out. Till then refs will keep dropping to i would say about 10 cents. Rememeber refs are free keys are not. Not like you can craft them so keys will continue to go up. People think its profitting buying amd selling keys but look at it this way. You buy at lets say 11 refs then sell them for what? 11.33? Then keys go up to 12 so you sell at 12.33 and buy low again so if you already caught up on the pattern youre always basically breaking even.

I think that keys will going up 'til no one buy it, then its going down again. Someone will try to have profit with keys, making it more expensive, repeating the cicle all over again. Its not ruining the economy and market.
