It is a misc, look on item status, latest change is "slit: misc" i believe a lot of hats are miscs now

You mean slot: cosmetic. Which applies to all hats.

This item did have it's equip_region updated in the same way the safe 'n' sound did, in that it doesn't clip with ear items now.

Just look on balaclava status, latest update is "item slot: misc" actually half of the hats are miscs now do i need to do a screenie for you?

They ALL say that. Because the hat slot doesn't exist anymore. There's just cosmetics.

actually, all the cosmetics items (items that you can wear) have been updated to be in the equip_region : misc. If you remember, at first you could equip a hat on your inventory just on the first slot; but now you can equip them on every slots (they are three). But what makes a hat a misc is the fact that they clip or not with other hats. For example, the nanobalaclava cannot be equiped with other hats, but the pyromancers hat can be.

Some hats conflicts with each other so they cant be equiped, thats normal
