    To someone a bit more experienced in suggesting, is there a rule about only providing your own sales to raise a price? I think I remember something about it but I'm not sure

      Nah, the rule is talking about not using votes as sales pitches:

      "Do not create suggestions that: ... are for selling your own item. Use the classifieds for that." - http://backpack.tf/rules

      but i do understand the conflict of interest.


      Thoughts on the suggestion besides that?

        I think the suggestion is fine, just I remember some other suggestion had all their own sales (to determine the high range) and someone (like MaGenta, Giang, or a mod or someone) said that one shouldn't base a high range based on only their own sales (since you could like trade it to an alt or something). I'm remaining neutral (which I do with a lot of suggestions)

          Thanks! This suggestion certainly seems to fall fowl of that rule, now what :p

          I think it only makes sense to leave this suggestion open so any other sellers at 1.33 have the opportunity to provide proof (and maybe we'll see how well the price range is recieved, the issue with the top end proof aside)

                    You can use your own sales but they shouldn't be the only sales. One person doesn't represent the whole market.

                      Yeh, i don't disagree, is why i'd rather someone else made the suggestion. A few things i'd say in its defence:

                      -finding sales after someone has closed their post on TF2OP or removed their listing here is tricky

                      -there isn't a huge volume of these traded to begin with, 11 regular ones for sale on classifieds atm, so my sales probably do represent a decent chunk of the market.

                        Try trade.tf, it will show closed trades from Outpost. You shouldn't need many trades, just enough to prove you aren't the only one selling at 1.33 successfully. 2-3 in my opinion, but the more the better.

                      You're allowed to use your own sales, BUT your suggestion sales cannot all be only your sales, nor can they be only screenshots. They're in the forums. check em out.

                        Anyways, while I can't deny that 1.33 is a sellable price, I still see 1 ref sellers on Outpost, maybe a bump to 1 ref flat is perfectly fine

                        I quick-bought two Unarmeds yesterday for 0.66, I'll let you know if they sell for 1.33
