Sale 2 -
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23501287 --> http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23552969 Sold for a max head, however this seems like an outlier especially since its a level 1
The other one on market was unboxed by the current owner so no sales on that can be traced, and mine was bought for a quicksale and the previous owners were scammed, the 4th one i am not sure of the current owner.
Feel free to criticize
Yours was bought for a quicksale because it's an bought off an alt (with 2 pending reports) of a marked scammer.
And though I agree with you that 5ish would be a reasonable price for this hat, you have the sale for the Max (3), your quicksale (assuming it was quite cheap because you're not sharing) and the 5.1 trade. Kinda hard to determine the outliner. I'd wait with the suggestion if I were you.
Well, seeing that most people want 5 or more i can assume that 3 buds was the outlier since nobody on outpost wants 3 buds for it

Exception 2: Rare Hats
Any hat can be priced based on a single sale if ALL these criteria are met:
- There are no other recent sales in the last 3 months
- The effect is not a Halloween 2014 effect.
- The hat went to a collector or person who intends to keep the hat. A collector can be identified by looking at the person's trade history, item history of similar unusuals in the backpack OR if the owner has not resold the hat 1 month after the sale occurred.
You are basing it off 1 sale since you considered the other sale an outlier. That isn't allowed.
Please also note There are no other recent sales in the last 3 months and since no other valid sales have gone through this is the only sale.
Then it can't currently be priced, wait for another sale.
I don't know why you even bother arguing. Instead, you should probably read the whole thing and notice what you just said isn't even helping your cause.
"Any hat can be priced based on a single sale if ALL these criteria are met:"
Unless you don't know what's the meaning of ALL, then I can't help you.
- Criterion 1 wasn't met as you yourself shown that there was another sale in the last 3 months and ended up contradicting yourself.
- Criterion 2 wasn't met as its a 2014 Halloween effect.
- Criterion 3 wasn't met as every single one in existence is now for sale.
In order for this to pass, 3/3 criterias must be met. You, have met 0/3. Yes, go ahead and argue, the fact that this unusual is a 2014 Halloween effect already justify the fact this has 0% chance of passing.
Moreover, you yourself are selling for 4.5 buds here: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23865604 . Its not a quicksale yet unless you've sold it for that price.
With 2 asking for 5 buds:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23625277
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23681002
This is no way more than 5 buds, and no way it is going to pass with just 1 sale when there's 2 in the market.
Explain how its not a quicksale, your reasoning isn't really making sense
Explain how it's a quicksell then. Have you sold it for 4.5 buds? No? So how is it a quicksale when no one has yet to pay your price?
Its a quicksale if its lower than what it has gone for in the past and following all of the provided evidence its obvious that its less than the Hive Minder.
Thanks for the suggestion, but this doesn't meet the criteria of pricing off one sale not only because your range is derived from only 1 sale and this is a halloween 2014 effect, but also because you have not shown why 3 is the outlier and not 5.
You cannot simply call something an outlier because it seems so. You need to back it up with other sales and offers. And if other sales and offers can't show that, you will need to wait for more sales to show which sale is discrepant.
